Ford 2000 tractor 1975 (of Ford Basildon, England)

The Ford 2000 tractor
- 1975 model (registered november 1974)
- manufactured at the Ford Basildon factory (Basildon, Essex, England)
- equipped with a 3 cylinder 32 hp F3 Ford-Perkins diesel engine
(Ford supplied the block and the head castings) and a Simms injector pump

Fint at det taes vare på!.Har vel aldri vært flust av 2000 heller så. Var ofte 3/4000 og 4600 som dominerte på tidlig 80-tall. Ihvertfall i (nå) Innlandet.

This has a Ford built engine, the dexta has the perkins cast engine.

That's right! The Fordson Dexta had the Perkins-based engine. The engines in the FORD "n-thousand" were completely new and 100% FORD own developped. They were short stroke type engines.
