I was pleasantly surprised to find that “Word Girl” still has an active fandom today. I loved the show as a kid, and I’m finding more appreciation for it years later, which is cool since this is a show that aired years ago, yet I would say it’s above some cartoons today in quality. If anything, she thinks of him as an equal, a rival, and even some kind of a friend. It’s possible for them to become a couple. I actually kinda want to see them as such. It would be interesting to see them bounce off of each other. Oh, what if they were in a relationship, with Tobey slipping back into villainous tendencies for various reasons sometimes. That would be cool to think about🤔 And at least I can say that, as well as that Becky respects Tobey, unlike another pairing with a girl in a red suit and a blond socially awkward boy.
