    Its quite simple...these players executed that plan because they are auditioning for the next manager. Give them 2 seasons, and you'll quickly Amorim out. Nothing more to it...

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  3 години тому +25

      Nope, not at all. You can’t have watched the game closely. Ruud used a different defensive set up.
      The issue wasn’t the players, it was clearly ten Hag. This whole “the players decided the turn up” nonsense is only believable if you don’t understand the tactical side of the game or refuse to admit ten Hag wasn’t good enough.

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  3 години тому +16

      Ten Hag wasn’t good enough. The players are. If you think it’s the players, you need to learn the tactical side of the game because that was very clearly the issue.
      The players saved ten Hag multiple times such as in the FA Cup vs Liverpool and City.

      @@AtlantisFootballyea you can be in your own low IQ fantasy land mate. Many united fans by now already know these players are prats.

    United fans need to have reality check. I saw plenty fans celebrating like yesterday win was revolutionary. There wes lots of defensive mistakes yesterday and the game still looked like a basketball game yesterday all the did yesterday was covert their chances and it was a second string team for LFC . Well on to the next game

    Ten Hag has been begging to be sacked cus I don't understand how you want to high press, buy the best counter pressing midfielder in Europe and still decide to play Eriksen that's high pressing mismatch 😂

      Guy was fully deluded. Honestly don’t think Southgate could have been worse.

    I must say I was really pleased with the volume of Bayindirs short passing. We need more of that from Onana

    Ten hag had 3 major problems while at United
    1. Is Ego and Stubbornness to change what wasn’t working for him
    2 he was trying to make fishes fly and bird swim, this was because he couldn’t get the best out of his players
    3. Although ten hag is a good coach, he don’t know the basic of a football match, which is the team with the most goals win. Under him I would be screaming for United players to shoot, they were all confused when they get close to opponent goal and keeps passing the ball around until they loose the ball. If you can’t shoot, you can’t score, the ball won’t just walk in into the goal itself just because of your confidence or mentality. Just shoot and keep shooting

    I think Ruud just got this team to do the fundamentals consistently, allowing the quality in the team to just go and win the game. One thing I was impressed with was the substitutions 👏

    The differences i had seen in comparison to last season , better pressing off the ball and quicker passes , especially in the defensive third . Dalot ventured up the pitch well , better than he had done for most part of this season and we were quicker at firing in the shots in most cases , but lets see how the next game goes against chelsea

    Above all else the players worked hard in this game which is something we’ve rarely seen ever since Ten Hag’s first season
    Whether Ten Hag was the problem all along or not, I don’t like how the players pick and choose when to actually care

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  2 години тому +2

      Not true at all. The players did work hard, it was ten hag’s defensive shape that was horrific.
      The players do care and have shown they have throughout ten hag’s era. They saved him multiple times.
      Players are not the problem, it’s this fanbase which says “back the manager” but throws players like Garnacho under the bus after a few mistakes

    • @neozapolar5102

    Thr main thing i noticed was ruud came and partially solved the huge disconnect between the defence and the midfield ..now i dont know if it was Leicester being poor in their press or what .. promising signs anyways.

  • @utipraise4912

    Love the analysis however I don't agree with the Casemiro should simplify his game, his ball progression from deep is one of his best and most underrated attribute and if he simplifies it we will struggle to progress the ball from deep with Licha being our only other elite progressor in deeper areas. It might not come off sometimes but at the same time it's necessary if we want be progressive similar to Bruno and his chance creation

    • @AtlantisFootball
      @AtlantisFootball  3 години тому +2

      Yes but Bruno is far better at creating via those long passes, whereas in deeper positions we need someone who can efficiently knit play together. Whilst the odd Hollywood pass from Casemiro does look great, he misses a lot of opportunities to just move the ball quickly.

      True I think this is where coaching comes in, making systems and patterns that simplifies it for him so he knows when to make a simpler passes and when to hit the long passes
