For me, The generational framework that Strauss/Howe Theory lays out, correctly lablels groups according to their relative place in history; but main stream media outlets went off the rails completely, calling these upcoming kids "zoomers" and all this nonsense and breakdown the last two gens. as being approximately 15 -18 years each.. which is just ridiculous! There are early middle and late waves in every era where they sort of blend over into the next. I guess it's just trendy for corporate advertisers to come up with catchy names, unlike Howe's which is far more rigorous.
Good question! There's a writer on Substack called The Nomad Historian who's really good. There's a channel on UA-cam called Generational Talk that has posted group conversations on a number of subjects. Lifecourse (the consultancy Neil Howe co-founded in the 90s) has its own UA-cam channel, although most of its content is at least 15 years old. And of course The Burning Platform...I'm obliged to mention him because he's posted my episodes two or three times. There are others too, but most of them have a small footprint. If you find new people or sources who are good, let me know!
Could not agree more - reading watching and trying to learn about this topic and listening to folks like Peter Zeihan to see the magnitude of what is really going on out there for that focused view on todays world … keep it up

Even the term 4th Turning is being used to justify all kinds of wacky stuff
It sure is. The use of the term has to be more precise and backed by better understanding. That's one reason why I do what I do.
Thanks for this. Really appreciate the channel. Are there any other reliable sources you’d recommend on the subject, apart from Strauss and Howe?
Good question!
