Yes there is, use about a litre of any old aquarium water in the new aquarium and leave it to cycle for 2 weeks and then test the water for ammonia and add fish

The sponge filter will colonise the bacteria, so you could use a good bacteria,

Sir no water change is required during this cycling period for my 2ft half bare bottom tank, right? Just added API Super 4 today in the Canister filter with your API bio-media. It is half bare bottom and in half there is a small Anubias plant in a driftwood with few stones. No fish now. Please suggest.

Sir,, I changed water in my tank and suddenly all my fish started to die one by one. Only one fish is left in the tank now which I am sure will die in no time. Can I add new fish in this water after waiting for 2/3 days or should I go for complete tank recycling ?
Nice information Mayur ji. Im planning to upgrade my non planted aquarium after few months as my goldfishes are getting bigger.. So i have a question related to cycling.. What if I put a sponge filter in my old aquarium now and then after i bought the new aquarium in 2-3 months i just shift the sponge? will it start the cycle early ? and one more question.. If i just put the sponge in aquarium without air pump. will the bacteria grow in it or not after few months?
You don't have to worry so much, wash the new tank I with salt water and again with fresh water so there is no salt residue,
Then use the water and filter form your old tank, as it is already cycled

Mine filter is a ordinary that is water goes up to the filter sponge and return back to the aquarium (You know what I mean). I have seen lot of food waste accumulated in the filter sponge . Now my question Is it necessary to clean the sponge daily or in a week when you are doing the water change or maintain work etc. Please advice
Clean at least once in a week or earlier if it is getting very dirty, wash with tank water not fresh water

Hi sir . I do cycling put super 4 and daily at night put green bacter plus and for 1 week I chang 50% water .when I tested water after 1 week NO2 IS O PPM .NO3 O PPM BUT AMONIA IS HIGHLY around 50 ppm.and add same algae fishies. What are u advancing?
Wait for another 2 weeks before you add fish, and continue the water changes

Sir as you said we can use super 4 in bare bottom tanks as well but after putting super 4 the brown bacter 100 (dirt/mud) is settled at the bottom of the tank. Should we siphon that and remove it after leaving it for a week?

ADA Aquagravel is neutral, it does not contain any nutrients so there is not issue

Mayur sir, hi when we do the water change, we will obviously clean the filter as it gathers fish waste, right sir. So, question is,
when we clean the sponge and the filter accessories, "will the bacteria die out" and should we add super 4 again or "will the bacteria live inside the sponge filter even after cleaning...
I only use colour stones and beach shells for decoration...
It is advised to clean the sponge with aquarium water so less bacteria is lost and that is why we use Water Care 4 + after filter wash to replenish the bacteria

Sir ,cycling my 80 litre tank past 3 weeks .Amonia and Nitrite are 0- .25 ppm but Nitrate is 80-160.It just has soil and driftwood as of now. Little hesitant to put plants and fish due to high Nitrate issues. Pl advice.

Anti chlorine will not destress the fish, it will only remove the chlorine

chlorine remover will not increase bacteria which is what is the main reason for cycling

If there is chlorine in the water you are changing, then Yes
One last question. Does bacteria also goes away if we change water after keeping bacteria in tank.

Hello Mayur sir, unfortunately I added sand, water and rocks in my tank before I chanced upon this video. So can I simply add Super 4 now to my tank and wait for a week, (with daily 50% water changes + tapwater conditioner) and then add my fish?

May I ask if it is necessary to change 50% of the water daily for one week? If i not use any plants. And after that, should I drain all the water and add new water? Your response would be greatly appreciated.
