Bonita: SUV Crashes On Its Side 3/14/2024

AREA/CITY: Bonita, CA.
DETAILS:
A female in her 50's was traveling Northbound on Sweetwater Rd. when for unknown reasons she veered off onto the Southbound lanes of Sweetwater Road, went up the sidewalk, and struck a low-laying retaining wall that caused her Toyota RAV4 to flip onto its side.
The woman was unable to get out of her vehicle on her own. Firefighters arrived and extricated the woman by breaking the front windshield, the extrication took about 15 minutes.
The woman driver was transported to Mercy Hospital with moderate injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.

Glad she didn't die. I saw this yesterday and was concerned Because of the window looking like someone was ejected.
