Using two 90-degree mandrel bends is a practical approach for creating smooth, precise angles in custom exhausts, intake pipes, or other tubing setups where tight turns are required. Mandrel bends are ideal because they maintain the tube's diameter throughout the bend, avoiding kinks or distortions that could impact airflow or fluid dynamics. This method ensures a clean, professional finish, especially when fabricating components like handrails, roll cages, or automotive exhaust systems. Would you like more details on the specific application you're referring to?
Great question! Using this method can be more accessible and cost-effective if you don't have access to a pipe bender. It allows for precise and custom angles without the need for expensive equipment. Additionally, this technique can be useful for creating complex shapes and joints that might be challenging with a standard bender.
Thank you for your compliments and for watching our videos. If you have any tips or suggestions to make our videos better, please leave a comment below.

I disagree with your title. For handrails this would be classed as "rough". With the amount of fabrication time it would have been cheaper to buy x2 90 degree bends for a perfect fit-up and weld - if time and cost was a factor your fit-up should be good enough for a small fuse weld, acid, and then blend with a finishing mop and scotch brite.... this is not "welding on another level" the welds are below average to....

It sounds like you're noticing a discrepancy between what was shown in the video and what was actually installed. If there's a concern about the authenticity or accuracy of the demonstration, it might be helpful to clarify or seek further information from the creator to address any doubts.
It seems like you're pointing out a difference between a factory-made part and one that was custom fabricated, possibly for the sake of demonstration or visual appeal in a video. This can sometimes lead to discrepancies in how projects are presented versus what's actually practical or standard. It's important for creators to provide accurate representations and disclose any modifications or customizations clearly to their audience.

You just need two 90 degree mandrel bends .

Hello Finland! 🇫🇮
Thanks for the suggestion! Sometimes improvising with the tools available can be a fun challenge, but a pipe bender will definitely make things easier.
Who knows what the name of the very first track in this video is?

Thank you for watching our video
I disagree with your title. For handrails this would be classed as "rough". With the amount of fabrication time it would have been cheaper to buy x2 90 degree bends for a perfect fit-up and weld - if time and cost was a factor your fit-up should be good enough for a small fuse weld, acid, and then blend with a finishing mop and scotch brite.... this is not "welding on another level" the welds are below average to....

It's certainly on another level!
Nebylo by mnohem snazší použít dvě továrně vyráběná kolena?

Hi. At the end of the video, the author did just that. He welded two factory 90-degree angles under the guise of being made with his own hands. I do not tolerate deception on the part of the video...

Impressive How ever grinding over the fish ponds is not a great idea.
Thank you for pointing that out! You're absolutely right, grinding near fish ponds isn't safe for the fish or the environment. I'll make sure to take more care in future projects. Appreciate the feedback! 😊👍

@@TrendDIY belt-sander for any heavy grinding needed and sand paper to smooth the edge. You want tge whole thing as thin as possible usually. Finally, whet stones to sharpen the final edge. You can use diamond grit stones too

Seems like a pipe bender would be faster
Using a pipe bender is definitely a faster and more precise way to get smooth, uniform bends. It saves time and reduces the risk of kinking or damaging the material compared to manual methods. Have you tried one before for your projects?

There’s something sus about the piece made and the one installed 🤔 I just can’t put my finger on it
Yeah, one came factory with the railing system, the other was fabricated for views

Using a tubing bender is definitely a great alternative! It can make the process smoother and more precise, especially for creating clean, consistent bends without any risk of damaging the material. Have you tried using one for your projects?
