Great video that really shows how to play 3 string guitar. I gave up on 6 string guitars a while back and 3 string seems like the way to go to still have fun playing the guitar as I enter my 70s and my fingers are not good on a six string anymore

On a side note. Im a 6 string player., bar chords on a 6 stri g and a CBG are 2 different animals. On a 6 string, the 1st finger is the "bar" which actually mutes the strings while other fingers actually make the chord
Yes different but the same in many respects. You can barre all 6 strings at the same time. or barre just 3 strings like the F chord 133211 the 1s are all that's barred. My focus is on 3 string here.
On a side note I've been playing 6 string acoustic/electric for 50 yrs.
