- This mod improves the Zero Hour game by fixing almost all bugs in the game, with tons of balances, improved AI, and many enhanced features. There are also additional stuffs for all factions and sub-factions including Civilians. This mod also including playable Boss General with fully functional AI.
Almost perfect Zero Hour. It is what Zero Hour should have been in the first time, keeping the game's original look while greatly improving its content. Tons of bugs and exploits were fixed, the balance has been improved and retoned and the AI has been improved sightly. NProject Mod is the best patch mod you can get for Zero Hour.
Enabled Boss General to be played in skirmish and multiplayer with balance and playability added so it is not overpowered.
More than 35 new units, structures, upgrades, and special abilities. These new things were added to give each specific General more choices in tactics and preserve the balance among all factions.
More than 15 new maps for skirmish and multiplayer with improved AI. All existing maps also have been improved with better pathfinding, enhanced AI, and less lag. The Generals Challenge missions also have been enhanced, including the new Demolition General mission.
Small changes that makes big things. Several minor fixes and improvement have been applied as well. From the things like destructible props and trees, several improved explosion particles, to necessary model improvements.
Additional features for Zero Hour:
- Expanded option menu, enabled the anti-aliasing, language filter, and draw cursor settings.
- Integrated WorldBuilder Mesh Mold Tool, with several template shapes help the mappers.
- Added the missing Generals Challenge missions, the Infantry General and Demolition General.
NProject is a quite small mod for the Generals Zero Hour it adds only few units, upgrades, buildings or textures and updates the Generals Challenge. Most importantly, we can play the Generals Challenge against Anvil Shin Fai and his legions of infantry. But Shin Fai is also a big coward who panics when you launch a Nuclear Missile (it's real) at his base. But still, you can feel that the mod is very unpolished, there are a lot of several bugs which can be nervous (like Hackers which don't collect money upon entering the Internet Center). I didn't touch the Boss General, because it's broken and completely unfair to play a subfaction that has no interesting specials, it's a weaker Vanilla side which gathers from the US/China/GLA and completely without any form of intelligence and alternate resource gathering. Unfortunately, this mod won't be ever fixed because it's abandoned in it's current state - sometimes it's unplayable, but if you really want a tough challenge, you should try this mod. Hard AI is vicious and Medium AI is still quite challenging to play against with - your AI opponents use a full arsenal and are brutal, they attack you with tons of heavy ordnance like Emperors, Paladins or TONS of Scorpion Tanks. Granger also has no problems with use of his Hypersonic Auroras to destroy your defences with ease.

In the campaign, the US and China are allies...
In Lore, Fai helped and contributed massively during the Taiwan Crisis (aka the first massive GLA invasion, on Taiwan), giving immediate reinforcements to the American base there as he is the nearest to the area.

Just imagine being GLA and training 10 technicals and running the hoard over.
Tell me about it. It's annoying for him to destroy my Tactical Nuclear MiGs, but I finally destroyed him by using arms race tactics and hordes.
His infernos were weak too, so I diverted all my airpower to one unit at a time. I want him to feel what pain is for his men with Tactical Nukes.

N0RRec Yeah tell me about it. I played as the Airforce General vs Shin Fai, and it was a struggle start to finish, then I played Doctor Thrax vs Shin Fai, and I honestly have never played a match that easy.
Air force is the worst matchup against Infantry, Toxin is the best matchup against Infantry.
While Nuke and Demolition is mild good against infantry.

Fai's Troop Transports can carry 8 tank hunters without them having to leave the vehicle. Your toxin tractor would be fucked.
@@darryljones3009 agreed, that's why I always have anti vehicle units supporting the Toxin tractor
@@toastius9939 scorpion tank can easily Eat the Assault troop crawler especially if it's the toxic version one

Fai's voice lines are present in Zero Hour, but they are not used anywhere.
It says his men are trained in groups of 3. Since when?
It's probably a relic from production, when they were toying around with ideas. As well, since there was no original mission (even unfinished like with the demo general), they probably scrapped the infantry general challenge pretty early on. One of his general specific things (back when they were originally creating the inf. general) was that he could make more troops faster.
@@thisisnotok2100 When you look at the "Shockwave" Mod, they implemented that Fai can train gatling-infantry and regular infantry. And regular Infantry would come in pairs of 3
as modders from Shockwave and Rise of the Reds said, there is a lot of unused material that didn't make it in the game release but is in the files. The game is assumed to have been rushed and therefore not finished as it might have been envisioned
How to enable his map in challenge mode. I know that I need to edid INIZH.BIG campaign settings, but what are his data to put instead of someone else ?

Easy: Dr Thrax, Demolition General
Medium: Laser General, Tank General
Hard: Infantry General, Superweapon General
Hardest : Airforce General, Stealth General
