    My mint is so sad here in Bakersfield. The description on all three varities said to keep them in full sun, but I'm going to try moving them under the mulberry tree and see if they are happier there.

      Yes, mint only does good in full sun up until about 80° or so, once it gets past that it shouldn’t get full sun especially here where it gets so hot. The same thing happens to my mint so once it starts getting above 80° I will move mine to where it gets partial shade, and for sure is shaded in the later part of the day. Moving it under the tree where it will get some shade should help it do much better!
