Why Vegetables Bolt and What to Do With Them

Do you have any vegetables out in your garden that bolted and went to seed? It can be frustrating, especially when you don't get a harvest first. But it's very common for cool-season crops to bolt as soon as the weather warms up.
You can either leave them in the garden to attract pollinators or try saving the seeds. Watch this video to learn more!

I cannot keep the cilanto from bolting... ever. Hmm had random heat wave days in Jan n Feb ( zone 9b cali like you) so my broccoli buttoned. I let them grow more n ate some anyway and the rest I let to flower for the beesies.
