People saying for writers to get a real job while Media and Entertainment is a trillion dollar industry. These people complain about bad writing while also getting mad about a strike, which is happening to enforce higher and stable pay. Surely that wont have an effect on the average quality you see from writers in the industry. If you hate bad writing, and disagree with this strike, then you must love bad writing.
It's almost as if passionate writers have to choose between making a living vs pursuing their interest, leading to a shortage of competent writers. This is just a thought, but it could be a possibility that if writers had higher pay, and a stable pay structure, more would be willing to enter the field, resulting in a larger pool of skilled writers.
Writing is as real as a job gets-producing output daily that gets consumed by millions and judged immediately.
the problem with channels like Patrick and SunnyV2 is that at some point there isnt a topic or “downfall” to talk about, so they start making up shit or just push a random narrative to get their point across and get a video out… this video is full of yapping🗣💀

Literally everyone understands why managers create toxic environments and the ways it can help execution given the right team. The point is that many managers at the apex of their fields are not toxic. In fact they perform better on average. The justification doesn’t work because the evidence shows that the level of toxicity is not needed to “run a tight ship.” Clearly people are just trying to justify inability to control their emotions.

I have never liked Jimmy Fallon and never understood his popularity. To me he is super tryhard who tries to get all the famous people on the show for more clicks. Jimmy Fallon is great at being the person through whom you can vicariously listen to a joke...it's when he starts to tell them that the problem arises. You have to be funny to be the one actually telling the joke.
sounds like these bozos landed the job of a lifetime and were shocked that it was actually hard. According to the writer's guild, tonight show writers are making $4k a week on base pay PLUS residuals. So these "pay me a living wage complaints" are like Hassan saying he lives on a basic neccesities budget. There are writers being underpaid and screwed by streaming services. However, they are not on Jimmy Fallon's show.
Complaining about their pay is crazy I agree but most of the hardest dream jobs have hard work without hard ass toxic bosses. If you can’t perform you’re replaced but manchild bosses who can’t control their temper are insta fired at top tech companies and big banks. I worked at bulge bracket investment banks for over a decade and my teams clients were always large tech companies. Hardass bosses are just not something you see very much of anymore at the top because they tend to underperform, something that is backed up by all research into business management. I’ve also worked at quant shops with starting salary of over 200k a year and those places are super chill 24/7.
Even most big corporate partners are no longer so abusive. It’s so much easier these days to find another job for most people that companies can’t afford to keep the manchildren regardless of how talented they are.
