Thank you so much for showing us this method without all of the chatter! Why do some people think we come here to listen to them talk and talk and talk? I have seen this same technique take 9 minutes to show. You are awesome!
OMG! This is the absolute best and strongest knot. I got it on the first attempt and I made so much noise that everyone came running to see if I won the lottery. 🤭 Your instructions were clear and perfect and I thank you for sharing.🤗❤
this is so cool! I'm crocheting a lacey shawl right now and this is a great join that doesn't leave me with lengthy ends to hide! Very clear video and instructions, so I did it perfectly right away, thanks for posting :)
I like this method. I can't seem to do it. I guess I need practice. I watched 7 other videos over and over to show me this trick. I was not grasping it. I got very discouraged. Just your video was very clear. I understood where the yarn goes. What to pull. How to wrap it. Some reason I am not getting that pretty smooth knot. I am getting a Knot alright, but it balls up. I think a few more tries shall do it . If I can't get it then I will go back to using scissor, lol. THANK YOU SO MUCH for getting this far 😁 I don't know what I am doing wrong in the end 😅
Where were you 60 years ago when I started knitting?! People have showed me various versions of joining yarn with a knot, but I tend to forget how I started by the time my teacher or video finishes. This was very helpful, and brief and allows me to hold the yarn in whatever position my arthritis allows. Thanks for this.
One word...AWESOME!!! Thank you. I’m crocheting a baby blanket for my new grandson.. my first grandchild, and this is a lifesaver. My only regret is it took me a long time to find this tutorial.
I am delighted with this no-end magic knot. I am now able to place the knot exactly at the stitch where I am changing the color (with a little practice) and I am crocheting a hat with no weaving ends. Thanks a lot!
I will try this on the blanket I am making. No ends to weave in has to be a bonus and with colour changes every two rows it makes for a lot of weaving in of ends. Thank you for adding this video
Wish I could like this video 100 times!! I'm working on a double stranded scarf and didn't want to have to weave in the ends in the center and this knot worked perfectly with my bulky yarn! I got it the first time I tried (may be because I'm so used to making fishing knots like this) will definitely be coming back to this video again and again if I forget how to do this
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!. I went step by step and finally got this! This is great. I am working on a striped blanket and was having ends galore. Now I can do it without being concerned about how many ends I will have because I won't have any! Love this.
This is a great tip! I'm making a shark for my Granddaughter and needed to be certain that the stitches weren't going to come apart. This technique nailed it! Thanks so much!! I really appreciate being able to find must needed tips on here and you explained it perfectly.
Needed to be closer to fingers at all times. I just had to replay video several times to see. Verbal help after several times. Did figure it out and a new easy way to join.
Finally got it. I kept missing the second loop because couldn't tell if you were wrapping and slightly lifting the finger again. But after half a dozen repeating the video, saw the second wrap was same as first but on top. Then I did a happy dance. Very strong knot.
I have used your join method so many times Now Thank you so much for this video 😁!. It's especially wonderful with yarn that there is no way to sew with the Russian Join and you don't need to have a needle with you all the time. This is 👍 👍 👍!
This is perfect. Fixing to start a new skein. It is same color of yarn I am currently using. I am not great at weaving in the ends. I like this method.
I've watched this knot being done in so many videos, but I just couldn't get it right. However, your tip on the placement of the second wrap around the thumb is 'key'.... and yea! I did it 🤗 Thanks so much for your tutorial!
Amazing! I am Def going gonna trying this method. I hate how those regular tied ends look like even after being weaved then I always worry they will unweave with use and look horrible. Thank you for the great tip!
I have been crocheting since I was eight years old I am now 51 years old. This technique is absolutely awesome I wished I had known it years ago thank you so much for making this so much easier!
Oh my gosh thank you so much 😂 I was basically just tying them in the most basic way possible and it was sooo difficult to keep it together. Now I'm trying to make scarves for the Winter Shelter and I need a professional knot to work with so it doesn't come undone. This was very helpful!!!
That is a wonderful technique. I was trying the russian join, but not doing it very well, then I saw your video and within a minute or two I did it. Thank you.
Thank you for this . I must have gotten a bad batch of yarn and it was full of knots throughout so I had to cut parts of the knots . This has saved my project . Thanks again
Thank you so much ! I'm so happy I found this tutorial ❤ I'm knitting a shawl using oddments of yarn and joining new balls is a pain , here goes ,...... 😊❤
Thank you so much. I truly loathe weaving, so I'm always looking for ways to avoid it. Love this trick. You're right in that it not noticeable in the stitch. Yay!
Brand new to Loom Knitting! Couldn't figure out why the knot kept slipping - even after watching the video multiple times - pulling on the wrong string. Following directions works! Thanks :)
This is a great technique, thanks so much for sharing! I was worried that the velvet yarn I’m working with would be too slippery, but it worked like a charm. You can’t even tell where it is once the knot was woven in the later stitches.
omgosh i finally did it! i've watched this on other demonstrations only to get frustrated and give up. you explained this perfectly and i did it the 2nd time around and only because i didn't give myself enough yarn at the top the 1st time
I'm so glad I found this tutorial! Thank you so much for posting this--I'm working on a baby blanket and this works beautifully for joining new skeins! I hope to try this when I work on garments as well--thanks again!
Thank YOU!!! I’ve tried this with other videos like it and have been unsuccessful- (numerous times!) I try with your video and got it on the first try!! I screamed “I got it!” And my cat looked at me like I was nuts! 😂
The hardest part for me was to get the first loop far enough down my thumb so I could make the 2nd loop stay on my thumb, too. I managed to make a good knot the very first time, tho! Hurray! You da bomb!
wow this was super easy! thank you! I have an unfinished project because I so badly needed to add yarn without pieces hanging around.. thanks so much! I have subscribed
Thank you for showing an easy way to join yarn together, it had helped me a lot to finish my first afaghan. I was wondering do you have a video on how to finish an Afghan. Thank you😊
Thank you! I was able to do it on the first try with your clear directions. I wish I had known this before. I fear I’ve made some baby blankets that may unravel!
How did you manage it? When you tuck under the third one, are the ends going between the third wrap (which is not over your thumb but just around the forefinger?) and your thumb? Or do they go between the third wrap and the two pieces of yarn already wrapped round your thumb? And should the new yarn be held on the outside of your thumb or the side near your fingers? I am not having any success with this! Thanks for your help
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I was running out of yarn while making a beanie and needed a good strong knot, and your video helped so much!! :) Peace!
this is amazing! I wish would've found this earlier! any suggestions on how to maneuver something like his for the other half of the blanket that has already been completed and needs to be weaved??? ha
Thank you so much for showing us this method without all of the chatter! Why do some people think we come here to listen to them talk and talk and talk? I have seen this same technique take 9 minutes to show. You are awesome!

Quick, easy and not a lot of bulk! Thank you so much! I’m so thankful I found this video!❤
I've seen other videos on this.. none showed it as clearly.. with the added tips.. love it thank you

This was very helpful, and brief and allows me to hold the yarn in whatever position my arthritis allows. Thanks for this.
Thank you for this - it is by far the least fiddly and awkward, and the quickest join I have seen. Super easy to achieve first time too.
This was by far the easiest and most helpful video I’ve ever seen on joining yarn
One word...AWESOME!!! Thank you. I’m crocheting a baby blanket for my new grandson.. my first grandchild, and this is a lifesaver. My only regret is it took me a long time to find this tutorial.
😞 I’ve tried and tried… can’t get it to work…

Cannot tell you how HELPFUL this is!!! No darning needle needed at all!
I love this method for joining in the middle of a project. No need for scissors to clip tags.
I will try this on the blanket I am making. No ends to weave in has to be a bonus and with colour changes every two rows it makes for a lot of weaving in of ends. Thank you for adding this video
Thank you so much. I'm new at crochet, it's been a struggle, but I see your way of joining next color or ends is so easy!
I am so grateful to you for showing me this. I had to practice a couple of times, but I finally got it! THANK YOU.

Thank you thank you thank you. So easy and it's a strong hold. No cutting no big bumps....perfect!
Thank you! This is the BEST way to join two things of yarn/string. Great video!!!
📣LUV THIS‼Because that was so fast!!! So much easier than other methods!!!
Luv it! THANK YOU!🌷🌷🌷
Thank you so much. I learned this one before and i couldn't find anyone to show me again and i really needed this!
I did it! After a few failed tries I rewatched how you do it and it worked. THank youQ!
Where have u been all of my life??? lol This is fabulous!!! Thank u, Thank u, Thank u

My first time didn't work at all but got it on the second. Much prefer this method to the one I was using before. Thanks for sharing!
Most amazing thing I’ve learned about crocheting. Thank you so much!! This has changed my life

I had watched another video of this same technique, but couldn't quite get it. I watched THIS video, and bam, first try, nailed it. Thanks!!
YES! I'm glad I could help! ~Chris
Thank you for this . I must have gotten a bad batch of yarn and it was full of knots throughout so I had to cut parts of the knots . This has saved my project . Thanks again
Thanks very much!!! Using it all the time in grandchildren’s blankets.
WOW !!! I just tried it on Moda Vera ( so sick of the joins 5 so far) & it worked first time.. Thank you so very much for sharing !!!
OMG! I've never seen this before and I got it on my first try. I will be using this all the time. Thank you.
Took me a few trys but it worked great...I like this technique ...

Oh my gosh. That's all I have to say. Thanks 😊
I tried this with 4 other video's and could not get it to work!!! I got yours the very first try!!! Thank you, thank you. No more weaving :D
YAY! :D
thanks!! I've been wanting to try this but couldn't find this technique anywhere. thanks for posting!
Just recently learned how to do this method. It does rake some practice and lots of patience, but it's totally worth it to learn!
It took a few attempts but it finally worked. Thank you! I love it.

WoW, I love this technique. I weave my ends and I don't like to do it. This leaves no doubt that the whole project won't unravel!!! Thanks so much
This is awesome, fairly new at crocheting and got this on the 2nd try! Thanks
Perfect tutorial. Thank you so much!
Thank you for showing an easy way to join yarn together, it had helped me a lot to finish my first afaghan. I was wondering do you have a video on how to finish an Afghan. Thank you😊
Thank you very much! I was very nervous to do this as it’s my first time as a beginner crochet. I’m very picky to! Love that I don’t see it💗
I can finally turn all my little leftover bits into balls of yarn thanks to this little trick .
Thank you! I was able to do it on the first try with your clear directions. I wish I had known this before. I fear I’ve made some baby blankets that may unravel!
Wow I'll have to try that ... thanks for sharing.
Thank you. Took a few tries but finally got it. :)
I love this so much, have told a lot of my friends about it. Thank you, Thank You. I admit it took a few tries. But I'm so glad I didn't give up.
This is literal magic, thank you for teaching us your sorcery.

It took me quite a few tries but I got it and it's a nice join.
First try, it worked!! Perfect tutorial, thank you so much! :D
It took me a few tries but it works. I might just need to practice a bit
Thanks.. it works and I will save so much time 🎀
this is amazing! I wish would've found this earlier! any suggestions on how to maneuver something like his for the other half of the blanket that has already been completed and needs to be weaved??? ha
Thank you so much!! This is definitely better than the way I was doing a join.
