This is my favorite wintersun song. This one needs multiple listens to really get it. I think it's the best vocal and drum and rhythm guitar work, i really like the background lead going on during the chorus, there are "better" solos out there, but i think this fits perfect with the song, and then the outro, this song is just a masterpiece. The lyrics are top notch too, and i usually don't care for lyrics at all.
Just do your reaction for Blind Guardian - Valhalla and you'll want to watch every single video of that concert...trust me the desire will come naturally 😁😁

Great idea, but Lord of the Rings please in a live version, because live they play it a bit different than on the record and there is a Wacken version of Valhalla and Bard Song in 1 video.

I assume you already have it planned for one of the coming Wintersun videos but you really have to check out The Way of the Fire live at 70 000tons of Metal. It's one of the best song's they've written. There's two amazing solos in the song and beautiful melodies throughout.
I also think the best one is the Hollywood version uploaded by Winterborgirr. The camera work is also fantastic and it seems like they performed it better in that concert.
I've gone back and forth and compared the two videos a lot now, and the 7000tons does seem a lot more audible. The sound picks up a lot more mid/highs and it's much clearer. But Jari's voice seemed to be in a better condition in the Hollywood version, and in the 70000 version, Jari plays like 4 notes a little too quickly and ahead of tempo in the second solo, but fixes it by holding one note a split second longer and picking it up in perfect tempo again. This lasts for like a second though, so probably not too noticeable xD I think that's why I didn't like that version too much before, because in the Hollywood version they all performed it flawlessly and Jari's vocals seemed to be less exhausted :) In all, you can hear the song better in the 70000 tons version so it's probably the better choice. Wish it had the camera work of the Hollywood version, hehe.
And for some different genre of metal, i'd like to call out Swallow the sun. Doom metal band, but an excellent one. For an example Rooms and shadows song.

Yes Sadness and Hate was actually a old song from Jari's Immemorial era back in 1997 before he founded Wintersun.
