Toby Keith talked about the Country Music Hall of Fame two months before he died on Feb. 5. On March 18, his family learned that he'd be inducted in 2024, along with John Anderson and James Burton.
Here's Toby's thoughts, unedited, about the Hall. He talked to Taste of Country Nights host Evan Paul.

Toby was a true man. His family always came first and he had a child cancer center built in OK. He was the greatest man that ever lived. RIP and may God take care of his family

I have balled my eyes out for the past 40’days off and on like i knew the man personally. I don’t know what this hit me so hard. Maybe because he died on my Birthday.
You think the CMA board feels guilty about all the times they jilted Toby? They should. They couldn't handle the fact Toby didn't conform, and they let him know it. Thank God the fans know Toby is BETTER than any of those rewards. Rip, Toby. We miss you.

Costner said in divorce court he was offered $24 million to do seasons 6 and 7, he said I’ll do it only if I write the John Dutton part . You are a writer, are you going to give up writing the central character of your creation ? Costner is the problem here not Sheridan . Hopefully the show can be saved for all of us and the actors. No one is irreplaceable in life , I have learned that for sure. ( we attended a Modern West concert a few years ago, he can sing some , entertaining)
