We need Randy Travis back I was named after him
I suffered a stroke in march 25,2014, I know how difficult it is to deal with, keep up the good fight Randy, because I'm with you.
Darren Councell keep up your hard work! my uncle had a stroke in 2014 and my aunt in 2015 and my mom just had a triple bypass last month. it's an ongoing fight! stay strong.
Darren Council: Keep the faith, brother. God bless and keep you well.
do you sing funny too?
Hey he is just getting over is Stroke get off his his back ok How you like some say that youCorinne Mattinen PS I don't like someone making fun of some one who sick or different ok he has come a long way from death door
Corinne Mattinen:,Very well said, Corinne! It's so sad that some people feel compelled to make fun of those whom aren't well. No matter how, or why, Randy Travis had the stroke, he does not deserve to be made fun of. Thank you for speaking up, Corinne!!
God bless you my friend.. I will listen to your music forever and ever......amen.
Even with his voice impaired he still has that beautiful pitch, a true singer always!! In life we take advantage of what ever gift the Lord has given us daily thinking it will always be this way, in a blink of the eye everything can be gone, some times the Lord will test our very faith. Thank you Lord for showing us one of your children never lost that faith.
Randy Travis will probably never see this comment, but I just have to say to him: Mr. Travis, Thank You and God Bless
God bless Randy Travis!!!
Many Greetings from Germany!!!
My grandfather had a stroke in 1965, and I remember him singing this song after he came home from a few months in the hospital. I am crying like a baby right now, it is like I am 9 years old sitting at the feet of my grandpap....I am overwhelmed.

DANG I LOVE THAT RANDY TRAVIS SMILE . 💖 YOUR FANS ARE HERE FOR YOU, DON'T GIVE UP THE FIGHT. XOX
Tears in my eyes Randy. Keep fighting
From a fellow stroke survivor Randy Travis showed we can over come all things with Gods help
God blessed Randy. All the best to him.Always and Forever Amen. Thanks for sharing.
this makes me so sad I grew up listening to Randys music back in the mid 1980s and early 90s I remember such a young and energetic man Randy was back then and such a voice like no other some of my favorites were on the other hand, no place like home, hard rock bottom of your heart, and promises. this is truly a miracle God Bless You Randy and keep fightin the good fight.
Why is it so hard to find an actual performance video instead of someone talking about it like a news subject
I think it's gotten slightly better since you made this comment, but most of the time I find myself wishing everyone else would shut up so Randy can speak.
Because it's all hype and b.s.
Cus you tube is protecting the children from learning how horrible a stroke is.
@@B.Dizzler93 Blame the editing of the video not the reporter. She did her job. I found another video of just the performance after looking. Let me DM you the link
in today's turmoil and problems that both brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face. A true guiding light and hero in my life. I met him in Santa Fe once. Very kind man.
That's cool
Tommy Akers What luck to get to meet him. I'm from Oklahoma. There was a gas station in Santa Fe that we (my family) would occasionally stop at on the way to and from Colorado for an elk hunt. The employees said Randy would sometimes stop in there. Would've really love to have got to meet him. He reminds me of my grandpa, look and sound wise.
I think that was awesome and beautiful. My prayers go out to Randy as he has come a long way from his stroke. My Mom was a stroke victim.... this is not an easy road to come back from but he is doing great. God Bless you Randy......
randy travis is such a good country singer he is more than a singer of country he is a legend of country music
Hard to believe you've fought your way back from that unbelievable stroke. Courage, heart, and determination continue to be with you, Randy. I loved your music from the beginning, and was saddened to see you go through such hard, hard times.
Randy Travis was my very first stadium concert and it will always be my favorite.
Yep.. I was holding it together... until the very end of the song when I saw Randy break down sobbing... then my God, tears started pouring down my cheeks. God Bless Randy ♥️
YOU are amazing, Randy! Keep up the fight to your fullest recovery. We are all cheering you on and can't wait to be a you on the ACMA Festival stage next.
You are a incredible person. Iam a big fan since I was 6, my father also. Iam proud of all you accomplished in your life. Keep up the good work. Thank the lord for the great recovery. Post soon how your doing. We haven't heard from you. Always in my prays. Take care
I literally crying right now. My grandmother had a massive stroke in 2005. It left her unable to speak and comprehend. Through years of therapy and support from her family, she got back to where she could hold a conversation with a little help. To see the strides Randy has made and remembering the struggles my grandmother had to overcome just to be able to order at a restaurant just really hit my feels button.
Randy was the first concert I went to. It was in Johnstown, PA. I was 12 I think. May have been 1987. I can't remember who played before or after. However his voice was amazing
This guy got me into country music
I think this is my favorite video as he sang amazing grace and at the same time it is music to my ears to hear Randy Sing again.... sending Randy and Mary love from Ohio
bawling. I met him just before he got famous. he was humble and so, so, SO talented. I knew he'd be HUGE and I told him so. He looked at me and said, "REALLY?" as though MY opinion meant something. Just a lovely man. SO glad he's doing better.

So happy to see and hear that you are doing better. Everything is always in God's time not ours. We just have faith and trust in Him. I know it's, it is always easy for me to say that and when things don't happen when I want them to i have to remind myself that it isn't in my time. I t is so wonderful to hear you sing again. God bless.
Im in tears
Very sad but in a way Randy still has it, all things considered. As i get older, so do all the amazing country singers, & we have lost so many of the legions. I dont know what i would do without my country music. God bless Randy & so many other great artists.
God Bless you and your family always 💙👊🏼💙👊🏼

Keep it up, Mr. Travis, it is a comfort to hear you sing.
Oh how sad! I didn't hear about Randy's stroke until tonight. I just love him singing, "Forever and Ever, Amen" and "Meet Me Under The Mistletoe". I'll have to search to find out how he is doing now. He's younger than I so there's a good chance he's still okay. I hope so.
Randy Travis you Brave,Strong Man,may all our Lords Good Grace's Bless You! Congratulations.
Love you Randy!❤️ I had Forever and Ever Amen sang at my wedding 24 years ago!
Oh goodness ❤💓❤ Didn't know I had anymore tears left in me this morning! 😭😘 I was #ProvenWrong #AmazingGrace #GoRandyTravis
What a comeback !
I saw that by chance, and it made me cry with joy but also sadden to find out he had suffered a stroke, as I hadn't followed country in awhile.
I have always loved Randy's voice. But, this has me tears of joy!!
It's awesome that he has come so far in his recovery! Many best wishes for him as he continues to thrive 💙
So AWESOME to hear Randy again. Love that deep voice. You are Amazing Randy.
thankful, and God Bless!
And he sang it in the same key that he did at George Jones' funeral. His natural baritone has not left him, it's just very weak and breathy, right now. But judging by the progress he's made in the last few years (from couldn't talk at all - to now carrying a tune in his natural register without any intonation problems) I'm hoping his beautiful tone and full power are restored to him in the next few years.
Yes indeed he's come a long way a special person
such a sweet and gentle soul inside a terrific man...God bless you Randy Travis...I always and still do listen to your songs....Diggin' Up Bones is still my fave and Forever and Ever Amen
Even hearing him now it reminds me of singing tunes in church on Sunday. Would love to see a gospel album
