Wow, this is the 1st time I ever heard the weight of the cardstock. great info. I just connected with a lovely neighbor and invited her and her daughters to come for a card making fun afternoon or evening. They were excited to get the catalogs. Now I have info to share why our paper is so great, Thank You.
I have learned so much from this video, I can’t wait to buy all the beautiful colored paper, designer paper know that I know how to purchase them. You are a joy to watch. Thank you 🌷
Found this to be very educational on the different weights of the papers. Yes the matching inks, c.s. is what makes Stampin'up the best. Thanks Brandy, I have been watching your new series on the fundamentals of stamping. Years ago I was a demonstrator for Stampin'up and just love watching you. Connie is my demonstrator but I follow all you gals, Jackie and Sharon.
Great refresher Brandy. It is also goo to see what can be matched and how. I had forgotten to read the back of the DSP packs for the coordinating colours. I am really loving these back to basics. Thank you.
Hi Brandy, Just want to tell you how much I am enjoying this Beginners Series. I am learning things that are so helpful even though I have been crafting for a while. Thank you so much. Love watching all of your videos ~ you are so creative and I appreciate you sharing your ideas with all of us. Sandy Lackey - Redmond, OR
Thanks for this series. I love these designer papers and so many other papers. My problem is trying to decide which side to use especially if both sides are pretty. I always end up feeling bad when I choose one side over the other side. I wish some companies would print only one on side and the other side a solid color. Oh, well…
Hi Brandy, I really love your videos, I've just started making cards a couple of months now. Your videos help me alot, I didn't know where to start at but you helped me. I have ordered items from you a couple of times now. I'm just waiting on my latest order now. So glad to be part of your team I guess you'd call it. Brenda Wilson - Shelbyville,IN
Nice explanation of Stampin up papers. One thing I would like to have seen here is the 12x12 laser cut paper that is lacey looking. I have some that is not divided into seperate designs & I get it out look at it & wonder how best to use it on my cards. I believe I bought it at the same time as my Bird Ballad suite. Some of it was used for these cards.
Again I learned more than I knew before. Love the idea of the assorted color packs. Thank you Brandy! P. S. My happy mail arrived two days earlier than expected! Loved all the goodies inside!
Okay … I’m looking at the catalog page wherein Brandy is showing the 5 color palettes, but am NOT understanding WHICH colors the cardstock ASSORTMENTS would come in. Would they be the more saturated ones on each top row? OR the subtler ones from the 2nd row designated “ 8 ½” x 11” “ ?? Can anyone help me further with this? Many thanks…
Thanks for stopping by!! I'd be happy to help and clarify. My first concern is you might be looking at a newer catalog which means the pages are off. If you have the New 2023 Annual Catalog the Assortments are on pg. 125. You can purchase cardstock assortments in Color Collections, In Colors and this year Stampin Up is offering New Core Colors. The Speciality Papers on pg 127 are only offered per pack. I hope this helps. If you have further questions feel free to email me brandyscards.com/contact. Happy Stamping! Brandy
I had viewed this video, paused at the scene when you opened the catalog (o.d. 6:57), e x p a n d e d the screen so I could read the information, and then commented as I did. I see that I’m about 18 months off the mark at THIS date, so I’ll go check a recent catalog. Thx for your input! 😉
I love these Beginner Series. I'm learning so much... thank you, Brandy! I was just a little confused that the two Very Vanillas are the same weight...80#, or maybe I misunderstood. 26:12
