Excellent video! Thanks for taking the time to make it. I'm very interested in this mount, but I have two questions: 1) Does the phone interfere with either the airflow from the vent or with seeing the info screen? 2) Is it difficult to clean dust from under and around the mount?
@@TheScubaSmith Thank you! You have a lot of adjustment to play with these arms and the mounting balls. There are also different length arms to choose from. So, you can position your accessories out of the way of the vent and the info screen. It is definitely more work to clean around the mount, but very doable. To me, that little bit of extra time needed to clean around that area is certainly not a deterrent of the benefits of the mount
Why wouldn't you just take the bracket off then use that to mark the holes? Seems easier to work with. Is it because you are using the logo to line it up on the trim piece?
Great question. Yes, you can certainly do it that way as well. And yes, the logo does help center it, but it's not 100% necessary to keep the pieces together
What's not rated for off-road? I can tell you I have the exact setup in my 4Runner and me and the Tacoma have been on dozens of challenging trails and have not had any issues with any of the mounts
@@lovablepersona5000 The magnet phone mount (Diablo D3) says on the website it was not rated for off road use. But I have tested it for over a year and it is great for every day and off road
LOL. My brother. He was driving cross country with my dad a few years ago and put a peel on my father's brand new dashboard on the trip. My father told me the story when they got back home and it's been a "thing" ever since😁
This video is the reason why I'm buying the BulletPoint mounting system for my Tacoma. Thank you!
Nice! It's a great system. We've had them on 3 different vehicles and it's solid.
Top form video - the info on pulling the bezel was valuable and I was in the clear after that.
Love it, thank you!
I want the banana peel mount! Just kidding. Freaking excellent install video! Got one ordered for my Tacoma based on this video alone. Safe travels.
@@HNXMedia Cool, they are great. I love the one I have on my 4Runner. You'll see the banana peel pop up in many of my videos 😁
Thanks!
Just the information I was looking for!
Glad it helped
I'm basically a mechanic now.....;) Absolutely love this system!
Yeah, you are
Nice job Joe
Yes, he did well! Thanks for watching
Thank you!
Love the Bulletpoint...they are rock solid!
We are big fans too
Great video, very informative and lets me know exactly what I want to order. Thanks!
Thank you!
Nice mount. Great instructions
I appreciate it
Looks simple enough. I'm in!
It's a pretty straightforward install on the Tacoma

@@predictivesolutionsltd9662 Enjoy it!
I'm a big fan of this system
We are too, especially after time testing them

Correct, that was my idea too and it worked like a charm. Use the bottom part as the template if you just tape it down onto the bezel.
How's it hold up does the phone wabble around
No wobble at all in the Tacoma or 4Runner. We love this mount. Easy on and off and adjustability. It's the Diablo D3
Nice video. But not rated for off-road? That’s a deal breaker.

@@AZOverland2017 you said in the video it’s not rated for off-road.

Who started the banana thing? You or your brother? :)))

I think even I could have installed this.....if I had thumbs....
Settle down Loki😁
