Well, the only two times I've had 'problems', it was all due to the weather, which sadly can't be helped. Back in November of last year I was supposed to fly from Amsterdam to Orlando, but ended up in Tampa because of hurricane Nicole closing down Orlando airport. In June of this year, I flew from Amsterdam to Tampa via Atlanta. I got to Atlanta just fine, though we hit some rough weather as we were flying in. My connecting flight to Tampa was supposed to depart at 4PM but got delayed multiple times because of heavy thunderstorms. We ultimately took off at 8PM and took a rather circuitous route, even flying over the Atlantic again for a while, to get to Tampa. Of course, this doesn't deter me and come December I'll be flying the AMS-ATL-TPA route again 🙂 Let's be honest, most of the time there'll be no problem at all 😁
You are right most of the time travelling is not a big problem. I find Orlando does get hit with bad weather more than some other destinations. Still it’s always worth the gamble. I shall be flying back to Orlando in Novembe
That's why Heathrow is a much better option. If your flight is canceled at Gatwick you're screwed as there are not many options. At least with Heathrow you have multiple British Airways and American Airlines alternatives that normally have lots of seats available.
That’s very sweet of you all. We did have a good time thank you. The hurricane didn’t cause too much of an issue. There will be some short videos of my trip coming soon. I will also be doing a solo trip back to Orlando in November so hope it will be a better travel experience
Thank you. I am back home now. There was a couple of hours delay coming home but nothing too bad. At least we did manage to get way a lot of people was not so lucky

I agree. Generally I do prefer Heathrow for the options. Shame BA don’t fly to Orlando from there
Me and my family just watched your video and we feel so bad for you I do hope you had a lovely holiday though ❤

Glad you both finally made it there safe, what a nightmare for you.
Thank you. I shouldn’t moan. I would rather be in a delayed plane than be at work. Especially if I am heading to Orlando
OMG 😮what an awful day you had , hope things are more settled now , and yo don’t have this on the way back 🙏

The joys of air travel in these times.
It does seem to be getting worse for delays and cancellations
I felt for you guys! did you get compensation?
I’m still waiting for a response from BA. I hope to get some thing as I’m heading back to Orlando in November
That food was a disgrace.
I find the food in economy on most airlines these days to be pretty bad. It’s all about saving a couple of £
