you must be a rim shot player... I had the same problem,, so I angled my snare more on a down slop,, and solved the problem,,, also angle your cymbals down as well,, and don't hit the edges of the cymbal . Hit the stick right on the top... this will save your stick... Funny video loved it... looks like you have lots of firewood.. sticks can be glued together use yellow gorilla glue..
