I’m really glad for this affirmation because I had a drummer that told me that if I was ever breaking sticks at all I wasn’t playing correctly. I can see where and tear on my sticks and my sticks average about two or three months before one breaks so after listening to you, I feel a bit better.

I've never broke a stick in by life. only retired then from tip flaking over years of playing.
