But the waste still had residual heat. And the more waste they added, the more heat. You can see where this is going. And if you guessed kaboom, congratulations, you're smarter than a 1950s Soviet official. But then so is my cat.
I saw this film as i was a little Ukrainian girl, and I was impressed really much. Through years (now I am 24, saw it asI was 5-6) I almost forgot it, but had a slight reminiscence of the frame with a boy even shouting 'Mamka!' (mommy) - and couldn't remember from where it came, almost convinced myself I fantasised it with my childish mind... Then, tonight, I came here cause of the great love to Kraftwerk and went really crazy. Now I know it was not a daydream, and even found the name of a film in comments. Thank you for the video! We point to chernobyl as the bogeyman of power generation, and yes it was a horrible turn of events, but it would also be a good idea to put into perspective the environmental damage caused by nuclear power versus, oh I don't know, oil. Hell, even solar isn't squeaky clean with dead panels leeching arsenic into the soil because they can't be recycled.
