Spittal 2018 - Goldeck black (8) route

Trip down from mid to bottom cable car station in Goldeck, Spittal, Austria, on 10/03/2018. Filmed with GoPro Hero4 attached to the body harness.
The route connects middle and bottom cable car stations, on a north slope of Goldeck summit, with height difference of almost 1000m. Length is roughly 8km (5 miles) and is marked as black. Reasons:
length and lack of branches or rest places: once you're on it, you have to do it all
it goes through the forest, so sudden changes in lighting are common, topped up by change of quality of snow: soggy where the sun reaches and icy in perpetual shade
lots of sharp bends and narrow passages
fairly steep at times
Based on the length of this video and Ski Tracks app data, I'd say that average speed on this run was 60km/h (37mph), with peak around 80km/h (50mph).
