ahhhhh!!!!! legend!!! Thank you Roger !!! Finally cracked it. WARNING Make sure the bottom of your door starts at the top of your 50mm slab. If you go from the bottom of the slab it wont work. I AM NEW

Thank you very much , but i becomes frustrating when you want to edit the opening because you have to edit all sub walls !! is there an easy way of overcoming this?

I have some problems to get an opening in my inside and outside wall when they are all placed in a separate layer but are grouped, I want to have control over my layers.
How should something be done and is this possible?

you can simply intersect the 2 objects together without the Pro solid tools. I have a Pro license but using the intersect command by right clicking on the object, group or component. Is faster, especially if your work is not a solid. Right click intersect, do a little clean up and move on. This guy is full of shit and only / trying to make himself sound good. Not teaching anything ............

It suddenly doesn't work for me. I hid my walls, tried to make them visible again but didn't work as if they disappeared. So i made my walls and the cutting again but the tool didn't make the hole I expected. It just add texture the other side.

If you *don't have the pro version*, don't waste your time with this.
