Rice - 1/2 cup
Thoor Dal - 1/2 cup
Oil - 2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Onion - 1 or Shallots - 6 to 8
Garlic - 4 to 5 cloves
Curry Leaves - few
Red Chillies - 3
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Tomato - 1
Vegetables - 2 cups
Salt - About 1.5 tsp
Sambar Powder / Kuhambu Milagai Thool - 1.5 tsp or as per taste
Water - 3 to 3.5 Cups
Tamarind Pulp - 1 small amla sized
Coriander Leaves
Ghee - 1 tsp (optional)
