We waited 5 years after luck retired to look to the draft for a QB. And expect him to be the savior lol he shouldn’t be starting. Chris Ballard fumbled so badly he literally had no choice but to draft AR and hang his coat on him. I don’t think it’s fair to give up on AR now because he has shown good qualities. He was never going to be ready this soon no matter what. Get rid of the GM, get AR some competition and figure it out from there.

Facts.. usually it’s the other way around you can hit the dinks and the intermediate routes but his deep ball is legit and if he gets clean time in the pocket his Intermediate game improved since he got benched

Bo Nix is 24 not 26 just an fyi. As for AR I think there are several different things to consider in this evaluation. One of my concerns is that I just don't think we have seen much progression is his development as a passer. My biggest concern is that the team said that there were no issues with his work ethic and then benched him saying that now all of the sudden he wasn't doing what was expected as a starting NFL QB. I absolutely think that AR should be given more time, however I worry that it won't matter with the current leadership. We can blame AR or we can blame the players around him but it sure seems to be that we are just going back thru the same pattern of undisciplined players and poor coaching and sucky culture that we did with Frank. I would love to see us fire Ballard now and start looking for his replacement so that whomever ends up replacing him can start evaluating coaches and players as soon as possible. Ballard has and will continue to hold this team back with his decisions. Any Rounders fans in here? "You can't lose what you don't put in the middle. But you can't win much either." It’s the second year in a row he’s getting outplayed by our backup. AR isn’t the only problem but, he sure doesn’t get a pass. Other QB’s in the past have had bad rosters and they’re still able to produce at least positive results like, completing more than half your passes, not turning the ball over, not taping out, not getting hurt and making smart plays. We’re not asking him to be the next Brady, Manning or Mahomes but, he better make a drastic improvement next year.
