For me, everything said this week about ARs preparation is just lip service. I’ll believe it when I see some improvements in decision making on the field. I think everyone needs to be a little patient. Shane is a great coach, he proved it with what he did last year. AR is our future. Even if we don’t make the playoffs this year, if we finish strong in December, have a great off season, everyone will have to look out!

If anything Ballard needs to be gone. He hasn't drafted a O lineman in the first round since Nelson. For some reason he doesnt thinks it's important. As for AR lets remember in the Houston game gooden dropped a TD pass, Mitchell caught a pass that would have been a TD if he made an effort to stay inbounds, and another TD pass negated by a penalty. plus there was drops in the game.

The best comparisons are Josh Allen, Cam Newton, or Tim Tebow to AR. Vick more like a Lamar

The lions and the broncos have shown they are beatable. Houston showed lions weakness the broncos showed KCs weakness and then at the end of the game KC showed a broncos weakness you feed on those weaknesses you beat them. We can win 6 of the last 7 but i expect us to win 4 or 5 of the next 7 because to be real this was ment to be a developmental season not a winning one and im good with that but ill also be fine if we lose more because its about development and puting and having all the right people in place around your guy we have the full offence we need to astablish our future at QB and then make some tweaks and focus in on the defensive needs. Also getting a TE in the draft whos not just athletic but that can pass block run block and catch as well as work chain moving routes is important as well as getting a back up RB who can catch run and block and then spending all the remaining focus on fixing the holes in the defence will be paramount. This will depend on who we lose in free agency. And oline help if needed just in case like this season of injury which is common for linemen.

Fans and players are getting tired. This puts Irsay under pressure. He goes after the GM. The GM goes after the HC. The HC goes after the team. The team turns on itself. Its one those things where everyone knows something is wrong. But no one knows where/what the real problem is. Its sounds like a work ethic issue. But whos fault is it?

I think Steichen is doing his best to develop AR, but he's stuck with Ballard's picks. I think Ballard is doing his best as well, but its hard to find high level players. A rookie will always need some level of development, the free agency is hit or miss.

Look at from an investment standpoint Ur last draft pick is almost halfway through his rookie contract and they havent seen any real progress. Now Steichen is under pressure to develop a raw recruit. It also makes Ballard look bad, so he probly putting pressure on Steichen as well. I dont know where Irsay is.

I'm surprised to see a guy on here since the headline was sooooo dramatic. It's football bro. You cannot compare us to last year. Last year we had a mediocre QB who was a great mind. Minshew is very personable. AR was asked many times to stay and throw after practice with our receivers but he doesn't do it. He wasn't involved last year at all,but could've been. He also the QB which means he's the leader of our team. A leader knows how to lead or he doesn't. Certainly not gonna learn it in two weeks. Shane was protecting AR from two Superbowl contending opponents because those DC' s would've had the whole word in mob made running this lazy uneducated loser out of town. He already cost us both games against Houston cuz he's NOT SNY GOOD and refuses to put in the time in the class room locker room and weight room. Remember he said the NFL was easier than college. My opinion: I don't think you want to have the same people selecting the replacements for the people let go. If the real problem is the current players, the people who picked them are the basic problem. It would be interesting to see how the players who left turned out with other teams. I just don't think the root causes have been addressed.
