    I'm 40 years old. And I'm at Gama level. I almost quit figure skating due to frustration. This videos have saved me from doing it. So thank you

      Glad you didn't quit :-D While we no longer post videos to this channel as we are no longer skating together, the videos continue on my original channel: ua-cam.com/channels/hSHNZvZlrv6D4GA-9zUe9Q.htmlfeatured?view_as=public

      Kseniya and Oleg Official Channel oh 😲. Do you guys still skater tough? This is the best online learning moment we get. The best!!! Starting late is frustrating. You don't know how far you will get. Watching this brings encouragement to our dreams 😊😊😊😊

    Thank you for this! My 9 yr old daughter is a competitive skater, and she was trying to teach me the differences of her steps! As I am not a skater but just a mom, I just couldn't fully understand her. This really helped!

    I don't always get the nice cusp pointing straight out. On some brackets I get cusps that look like the cross section of an ocean wave. I know back in the days of compulsories this would have been an obvious mistake since the judges looked at markings, but I'm not sure if this mistake would be obvious from a distance for the moves in the field test if I take that some day. I'm assuming brackets with a better shaped cusp probably do have better flow and appearance even from a distance.

      Depending on which MIF test, the higher the stricter they are. From the moves I have seen passed, you may get away with it, but the better you can get it in practice, the better your chances. When I ((Oleg) get a Bracket that's off like that, often it's because I didn't do the cross check correctly.

      +Kseniya and Oleg Official Channel Thanks! I'll try focusing on the cross check and see if it improves. My worse bracket right now is the inner back. I'll see if focusing on the cross check improves that one as well.

    what is the difference between rocker and bracker, i cant see it

    • @ЕвгенийКорвяков
      @ЕвгенийКорвяков 2 роки тому

      Rocker has a "S"-shaped trajectory, with switch only of direction but on the same edge. Bracket is a "C" -shaped movement
