I love Samo. I wish he could do an analysis of Peru and the current state of Democracy. We had 5 presidents in less than 6 years. And very recently Congress has colluded with the general Attorney Patricia Benavides and the president Dina Boluarte to remain in charge until 2026 and cover each others acts of corruption
What's there to cover? Sounds like they have a good business scheme and you're just jealous that you're not getting a cut of the take! *shrugs* Let's be honest with ourselves for a minute. Most normies do not care about the rule of law, only whether they can live their lives without being "bothered" and live an inconsequential existence. The only reason normies are bothered by drug cartels is because they are not the ones getting a cut of the take. Normies do not care that the US public funds central American drug running, they do not care about child trafficking, they do not actually have a moral position on anything- they are godless and amoral at best.
The Peruvian contradiction. A institutionality so strong it can counter any president, but so weak no president can finish a term. How did congress get such power? Why does it use it like this?
@@ppmch Long story short. A slow decay of the political system. This has turn into a Particracy, this is no longer a Democracy. It's all mafias inside and outside
Several things to talk about, I kinda disagree with.. Issue of crime is more a policy thing, policing is the execution of the process. It's one think to smuggle drugs, completely different of weapons (good luck with that), especially in large quantity.
best analysis on drug cartels ive seen
An apple a day
And a Samo analysis a week
Keeps you both healthy and sane :-)
What a refreshing conversation.

Ok, I wasn't expecting that
Even Samo might have not expected that he'd write about it...
"All those violent males will be in the US".. a whole episode needs to be done to address this. What does Samo think that looks like?
Love this series, can we get a LPA on haiti?
Thanks for your work Samo!
wait... that's not burja's voice is it ?
