Dude as someone who has beaten the dlc on level 1 with 18 blessing, this boss was cancer for me, it took 5 hours of tries until i got him, i got hit by lights and i also needed to parry. This is so much harder to dodge his attacks let alone doing it without status...i salute you for this grand accomplishment.
Amazing performance! Description in this video help me understand his move a lot. I hope Fromsoftware rework some of his bad moves. In my opinion, it is weird to play very defensive entire fight just for play around ONE bad move. Have a best day Mai 👍

On the description’s fourth paragraph on the “very slow double hit”. I find this is a not often discussed move no less annoying than double X slash. The slow double hit is in itself manageable, but radahn has a non-delayed variation to his follow-up after his right horizontal forehand slash that (at least in wireless ps5) demands immediate input to execute roll after you roll his forehand, which contradicts the demand of this delayed double swipe. And no you cannot wait to decide which is coming next because you have to roll even before you finish rolling the first forehand if the follow-up is the fast one. Both delayed and fast followup have similar telegraph/gesture (radahn’s right backhand and left forehand coming from the player’s right). If there is a minute detail to differentiate, good luck perceiving it before it is too late if the follow up is the immediate version. More of this discussed on my channel. Malenia is a good hard boss fight. This is not. And malenia’s only flaw is also her forehand - not lifesteal, waterfowl nor hyperpoise. And radahn just exacerbates upon the forehand delayed input propblem
Unbelievable. I admire people like you. Im also in the process of trying to no hit him because i thought "wouldnt it be cool if the first boss id no hit would be this one". Yeah, that was 6 days ago and im not even close. In a vacuum i could dodge all his moves but actually staying focused for the whole fight is so hard, almost inhuman. I also dont think that it is great boss design if your whole strategy needs to revolve around one attack. I dont know how that did get through the testing Phase. The Boss would be 10x better if theyd just take out that one two into x slash move

@@thebluehood35 Mathematically speaking, NG+0 Scadutree+0 is a bit harder. The reason why it’s a bit harder and not way harder is the capacity to stagger that is nearly impossible in NG+7 and ubiquitous in NG+0.

But yea, I had a plan to do no aux on top of the RL1 NG+0 Blessing 0 run with Consort Radahn though I kinda wanted to leave it to the future cuz it’s pretty tedious and I want to nohit other DLC bosses considering I already spent a lot of time with Consort Radahn. I once spent around 10 minutes to get him to 20% HP without getting hit and it was like a max level endurance test, especially considering he can do that frame trap move at any time and you have to make sure you get beside him at all costs when he’s in neutral.

great fight. would you say that overhead-2x slash and fast cross slash are unpunishable if you want to be safe against cross combo? similarly, is CR2 too greedy vs his 4/5 slash combo / overhead slam-> AoE attacks?
@@worstposterTL I would say that it is punishable ONLY if you are perfectly positioned to his left side, but a such good placement only happens rarely so i would say that those two attacks are unpunishable

My take is that it is indeed the hardest boss to master, there is just too many things to be aware of.. It would be fair, but i didn't do hit because it would be way less challenging

I don’t understand why the running away is working against his multi slam attack. I’ve watched every no hit runner dodge it this way yet it literally never works for me…? Do I HAVE to be light load??

At this distance, he almost always do a move to close the gap. If not, he will run towards you, so you just have to pray that he doesn't use the double x slash

Pray is the only solution. Even in this video, the run could have ended multiple times if he had decided to do that combo at some moment
