@Danny his heel work was great but Hogan wasn't right if it was face vs face it would have been an extremely hot crowd who cheer for both. Hogan just wanted to be a hero again so shawn made the match the funniest thing I have ever watched and i thank him for that

I distinctly remember watching that episode of Raw where Vince was in the hospital and Austin attacked him. When he hit with the bedpan, I nearly pissed myself laughing. Even now, every time I see a pic of that moment, I chuckle.
I loved Austin as a heel when he was the leader of the alliance. I was laughing my ass off at how he made fools everyone. I still go back and watch that stuff to this day. The Austin heel turn made sense to me. Austin thought he was bulletproof and then he got hit by a car. He realized he wasn’t bulletproof and while he was gone Rock, Triple H, and everyone else were raising their game. Austin came back but was unable able to beat triple h and had to face the rock who was the man while Austin was gone. Austin was insecure and felt vulnerable so he took short cuts to get to the top and stay there. He also slowly went insane and was paranoid of losing everything. It wasn’t until he lost everything that the old Austin returned.
100% agree, Austin's heel run is one of the best things, he has ever done during that period. Let us not forget, that he helped in creating a couple of notable new stars in that period - Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho and Rob Van Damm to name just a few.
Imagine if her dad super kicked you immediately after the Father/Daughter Dance at the reception and proceeded to throw you through an inexplicably placed Barbershop window with a bow on it? And THEN imagine how annoyed you’d be if that was all HBK gave you for your wedding? I mean, it’s a hell of a spot but you’d probably just prefer money as a gift.

Honestly, the real dream match between Hogan and HBK was always gonna be them bickering over booking. Two of the biggest backstage politics in wrestling history going head to head to see who gets their way. I think Michaels won that. Sure, Hogan got the booking he wanted, but HBK tanked the match Hogan fought so hard for.
I say that Heel Michael Cole was a “good heel turn”. I say “good” because he follows what I think a heel should be, someone who is genuinely hated and doesn’t get cheered. You want to see someone kick their ass. But Michael Cole’s turn was unnecessary. That’s why it was bad. They should have just made King the heel announcer again. He does great like that.
I cannot tell you just how much I have missed Adam's voice... it has brought me so much joy and laughter over the years and I am so happy to be able to hear it again!
