As someone that worked in WWC for 5 years and have heard the Brody/Invader and subsequent Fernandez/Johnny stories, from MULTIPLE people (especially when we had shows at the Loubriel where Invader killed Brody), I can tell you this. This match was after Brody was killed. It was a work. Carlos wanted to cash in on the whole Invader/Brody thing. Johnny had (maybe still has) the ability to puke on command and the blood was in fact pig's blood and vodka. Manny will swear it was a shoot, due to kayfabe, but it wasn't a shoot. I just checked Cagematch and it says the Fernandez/Invader #3 match happened on October 7, 1989, which puts it after Brody's murder. Interestingly on January 13, 1990 Manny Fernandez won tne WWC Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship...from Invader #1. They wrestled two more times after that as well. I don't know why people think it's a shoot anyway. There's no way a legitimate injury would lead to that much blood so soon after the injury was inflicted.

so, new jack wanted to murder a guy... as revenge for the guy accidentally falling on him.... fall that New Jack himself said the guy didn't want to take, and that new jack literally forced him to yeah... that sounds as logical as New Jack whole existence
New Jack legit killed a man before he ever even got into wrestling (he actually went to court and was proven innocent because it was proven to be self-defense).ANd that's only what he was actually caught doing, he has admitted to doing other equally scary and violent things before and after. So actually wanting to and trying to, maim and/or kill someone in the ring is exactly something surprising and is something I completely 100% believe him to be capable of. That and legit having CTE, serious drug issues, and PTSD from a horrible childhood makes for one individual you seriously don't ever want to mess with. The crazy thing is, most people who meet New Jack have said he's nice funny guy...as long as you aren't an ***hole and don't make him angry... (look how he was on the doucmentary "Dark SIde of the Ring", he seemed like a somewhat normal person and got along well with the director.) So who knows what he's really like. I'm just surprised that people still agree to wrestle with him and promotions actually hire him, goes to show you how some of the industry only cares about making money and stirring up controversy. New Jack and the murder of Bruiser Brody show just how even the most crazed and deplorable individuals can still become successful or not have to face any real serious consequences.

I was at the Gypsy Joe incident. Jack barely made it out of town without getting arrested. He left Freddy's literally two minutes before the Sheriff showed up. It took him so long because he didn't think the first couple calls from people warranted actually coming out, thinking it was just part of the show. Columbia Tennessee for you, ladies and gentlemen!
I have been in the ring as talent with Manny Fernandez. He was the stiffest worker I ever worked with. He was brutal on the young guys...and that isn't a bad idea but he went too far. And I have seen him go way overboard with veterans he didn't like. I can fully believe he intentionally injured another wrestler. Along with a few other issues....he is the one wrestler I hated being in the ring with. And on the other side....the best ever to work in the ring was Ricky Morton.....great guy.
One detail that really bothered me about the incident, was that the reports i read stated that the two other women in the match were the ones who worked stiff on Sexy Star, but it was Rosemary, the only one who hadn't, that she ended up taking it out on.
@@Meg97-e3u yes. Backstory to the situation is one of the other women had an issue with Sexy Star so she was working stiff with her. Plausible deniability. He can claim he's playing a character even outside the ring.
He did get arrested....Someone bailed him out and New Jack screwed him as well...
Even more infamous was his stabbing the guy with a surgical scalpel 11 times (based on Jack's confession)
@@androgynousmaggot9389 Mass Transit incident.
@@TheGr8one1022 that's not right

Talking about Akira Maeda, mentioning Antonio Inoki, showing picture of Jumbo Tsuruta as AWA Champion.
Bravo, editing team.
so, new jack wanted to murder a guy... as revenge for the guy accidentally falling on him.... fall that New Jack himself said the guy didn't want to take, and that new jack literally forced him to
yeah... that sounds as logical as New Jack whole existence
New Jack is crazy & most likely has CTE and is a violent SOB
Even weirder? The other guy maintains its all a work and he WANTED to be tossed off because money.
@@andu1854 he got a cracked skull from the incident watch his Dark side of the ring episode
@@andu1854 I will say new jack is probably largely affected by drugs and PTSD especially hearing about his childhood
This scares me, I want to be a pro wrestler but thinking someone doesn’t want to protect me is nerve racking
Then you don't belong in the business. Not a knock. just the way it goes . To be that nervous is dangerous for both yourself and your "opponent"
@@antonreaper9592 no I get it, I’ll get over it if that’s the case

Ah yes, the obligatory Blue Meanie
The fact that Yoshiko isn’t black listed from Wrestling absolutely blows my mind
Needs to be in a shoot with Ronda if you ask me
@@IamBookerTsucka She'd probably batter Ronda. Japanese wrestlers are pretty scary tbh
@@tyrkun1624 Whilst that’s true that they are scary I respectfully disagree, whilst she got shown to not be the greatest female fighter, she was still a legit deal, I’m sure Yoshiko is tough but she isn’t gonna do well against a former ufc champion
Yoshiko looks and is built like an ogre but put her in a cage with Rousey or Bazsler and she’s done. Shayna Bazsler
She works with Mayumi Ozaki’s promotion. Ozaki might be old, but she probably keeps her roster in check.
Forget "Tried to injure" Anything New Jack related is "Tried to murder"
RIP New Jack.
#2 was the reason I started following Rosemary and discovered other great Impact Knockouts like Taya Valkyrie, Laurel Van Ness (now Chelsea Green), Allie/Bunny, Su Yung, and Jordynne Grace. Also discovered her and Allie’s web series which I loved.
The blonde Japanese lady looked like Greg the hammer Valentine's lost sister
Perfect #1 choice. I saw that Dark Side of the Ring episode with New Jack and seeing some of the things he did
to his opponents made me say to myself that this man should never be allowed to work in the Wrestling Profession ever again. Trust me go watch it if you never have.
Its a miracle that guy in this video walk out alive after that fall. Thanks for your time.
I skipped the Act Yasukawa and Yoshiko story. That part is just too hard to revisit for me.
Act shot first.
@@EnclosedPoolArea sure did. Shot first and got her ass romped for it, but since she's the thin pretty girl in the fight it makes her a victim since she got the bad end of the fight.
@@EnclosedPoolArea Right so Act suffering a career ending injury and nearly dying was worth that?
@Moby Biggest I think it was awful behavior by both of them, they are supposed to be professionals. We all hate the bigger, ugly girl, when what she did was retaliate after being attacked first.
@@jlinms8721 go to hell. One stiff punch doesn't equate to getting your entire career ended.
I mean I should have expected New Jack to be number one, I just didn't want to because I'm worried he'd find me.
New Jack is insane, I mean we all know this right? If he didnt end up in the wrestling business, he'd probably be in prison for multiple homicides
Even worse, Yoshiko's opponent had a history of issues with one of her eyes, and Yoshiko targeted that eye throughout the entire match
Was hoping the Inoki/Great Antonio match would be listed. Good stuff. Highly recommend checking out Bill Burr talking about it. Great entertainment.
6:08 The Chinnest Chin to every Cher-oo 😂😂😂 What a line. My sides hurt just from laughing at that! 😂😂😂
Yoshiko Act shoot was the product of 4 years-worth of deep seeded issues within the company kind off an old school vs new school rivalry
That Big Money Matt picture at 10:00 had me dying!
Did we expect anyone other than New Jack.
Damn Japan, you scary.
#3: Yoshiko
DAMN JAPAN, YOU SCARY!
That bit was rather hilarious.
I remember #2 so much.
So disgusting.
One detail that really bothered me about the incident, was that the reports i read stated that the two other women in the match were the ones who worked stiff on Sexy Star, but it was Rosemary, the only one who hadn't, that she ended up taking it out on.
Makes it even worse is that from all accounts, including one from a friend who has met and interviewed her, Rosemary is an incredibly nice person.
@@TheChapelx is this the same Rosemary who is currently wrestling in Tna/Impact?
@@Meg97-e3u yes. Backstory to the situation is one of the other women had an issue with Sexy Star so she was working stiff with her. Star got pissed and started stiffing her back as well as the one other woman, who responded to Star in kind. Rosemary was the only one not stiffing anybody but for some reason, Star took it out on her. To top it off, Vampiro almost literally had to drag her to Rosemary to apologize
@@TheChapelx Star was probably too afraid to take it out on the other two so she took it out on Rosemary. She got blacklisted like she deserved
Wonder if New Jack will make this list 3 times again
Edit: He made the list at #1 to the surprise of absolutely nobody
New Jack is *M E N T A L*
I read this in Adams voice and it just made this comment so much better
You could have also put the Mass Transit incident where New Jack went homicidal
At that poor kid (who should have known better not to get in the ring without being trained and aware that you never ask a guy who has two justifiable homicides on his record, to blade him (I can’t watch the video, it makes me too ill)
I just realized that they could loophole the Blue Meanie situation by talking about Stevie Richards and JBL.
The interview New Jack did recently about the fall is all kinds of messed up.
Grimes: "I can't feel my legs"
New Jack: "it's okay, you won't need them"
*throw*
I mean, I shouldn't laugh but.. Damn

That's a perfect #1. He didn't even have a hint of regret during admitting it for worldwide tv.

Awesome research guys👍
Remember when Sexy Star said she was the inspiration for the woman's revolution?
Yeah, the tweet didn't age well at all. 😅😅😅
“No.1 JBL beating up The blue…I’m not doing it!!” 😂😂
You almost did.
Honestly You can make a top 10 with New Jack and you would still leave him out of the list.
Best finish to a video 😂😂😂😂. Great work guys.
SO THAT IS WHAT THAT MATCH WAS FROM!
I have been wondering who fell on those ropes like that for years.
Gotta say I really apreciate how you guys show actual video clips. The other channels don't and they really hurt the quality of the videos.
Other channels are still trying to make youtube money by not showing copyrighted content. You notice wrestletalk makes all their money from patreon and donations to sites off youtube now.
Yay im Here super quickly!
Oh good it's time for Adam to play another round of "Lets talk about New Jack for being a dangerous psychopath without incurring the wrath of New Jack for being a dangerous psychopath"
What makes me even more sad and angry with Sexy Star and Rosemary is *from what Iv gathered and may be slightly wrong* but unlike all the other entries where there is history between the victims and shooters. Rosemary was innocent, Sexy Star had backstage heat in AAA and thought she was gonna get stiffed on in this match. So for her to do this to someone who did not even work for AAA or had any idea what was going on just makes this worse
Remember when Carlito’s bodyguard stabbed John Cena?
Dang, I wonder if New Jack is going to be on this list🤔
That "3 bad things happened" line killed me 🤣 I had to hear it a few times honestly

4 chops from Holly
1 Alabama Slam
That’s acceptable for a rookie i’d say
I would probably take more bumps in a night at wrestling school
6:08 With that comment about Inoki's chin. The question now should be who has the biggest chin? Antonio Inoki or Bruce Forsyth.
Starcraft 2 player "classic" has the biggest chin.
I don’t mind that you did this list but like why this list as your last one before Christmas good god man
I missed Adam for the longest time when he had to leave Whatculture.
The earthquake John Tenta incident I believe was more from Kitau was more to do with their sumo careers. Tenta being a respected competition is his younger years whereas Kitao was a yokozuna (no not that that one) so felt that because he was booked to lose both the first and second match the day after he felt that would make him look weak against a lesser rikishi and thus refused to do business.

Only 6 days after you uploaded the video Yoshiko stepped into a Stardom ring again. 2020 was bizarre (to put it mildly), but that's something I absolutely didn't expect.
She was actually Wrestling for 4 years by now, and has been doing everything to bring back the goodwill she once had.
On a lighter note fun fact new Jack's partner would get high in the back by rolling up blunts filled with pencil shavings

“Welcome to the WWE, here’s a cookie” is a simile for, “Welcome to the WWE, here’s a shitty forgettable gimmick that’ll overshadow how much talent you have and make sure you’re never as big as the most popular guys in our company”.
list like this made me feel nothing for New Jack when i herd he passed away. i already knew he was an asshole and difficult to work with backstage, but to intentionally try to kill and her a fellow wrestler is a big no no. i have zero respect for him.
