Nice job. Ole Red can never have enough lights
Lights look great. I agree with you that the vendor should supply matching/mating connectors to make installation easier.
The difference between the men and the boys is the price of their toys! Looks real good!
You have done an amazing job repurposing your truck back to the truck world. It looks totally awesome

be safe take care yourselve
Nice to see you again, sir!
Ezra, Lights look real good on Ole Red. Happy New Year to you & your wife
On the connector, fill it with dielectric silicone grease. I do that with all my electrical connectors. I'm refuse truck mechanic and stopping electrical problems is one of my biggest concerns.
I'm using partsam lights on the shell on 97 f250 and I'm very satisfied with them.
That's really cool!! Nice touch. Happy 2023 Ezra!!
Lights look good!
good to see ya.. and old red.
We put them on all our Pete company trucks. Look sweet!
You've brought that truck back to life. It's being used as it should be. I've enjoyed all of your videos very interesting & entertaining. From that old wreck you bought to as it is now is amazing.

Nice looking Ezra! I too got that brand of lights for my truck. Two amber/red to hang under the new bumper I got. Quality product.

Happy new year!!!!!! With a good video!!!!!!!!
Oooh, more lights, cool. Always liked the lights in the top hat of the aircleaner....
Hope you have a great new year!
Happy New Year Ezra!
I used there 9 diod clear / amber led lights. I recommend them.
Ezra, Happy New Year! I'm really likin' those air cleaner internal light kits on Ol' Red! A really nice dress up touch, plus adding lights for visibility and cosmetic improvements is never a bad thing. Lookin' forward to seeing your new bumper installed and maybe some (much deserved) sponsor donated amber lights glowing on its chrome plated surface. Stay safe and have a great week Sir Ezra!
Happy New Year Brother!
Love this channel and you are one cool dude.. For the record I don’t know of anyone that can make pressure washing a truck interesting look interesting as you do… Keep the vids coming 👍👍
Iam glad you put a cat moter in old red no fan of a cummins
Nothing wrong with cummins, their great motors and have seen many go very long distances. It was Clessie Cummins who invented the Jake brake too. Cat and Detroit also good.
Fantastic video! A follower of mine just sent me a pair of those lights so this was very helpful! Happy New Year!
Yes sir cool stuff 👍
It's great to see your videos and to see your well.
Happy new year to you and your family Ez.
It's new years day here in Australia.

Happy New Year to you and yours Ezra.
Your Pete looks so much better with matching air filters. It just evens it out nicely.
What a sweet ride dude!..I would love to go to work even more, and I only drive a junk company freightliner lol
Hey Ezra, thought I saw you in old red down I94 just before the storm..I was heading down from New town , trying to make it to Texas before getting stranded.
Very nice! Happy New Year!
I plan to pick up some of those
O-H-I-O Porter greetings.🇺🇸 Happy New Year there buddy! It’s always good to get that salt & grime off the rig. Adding a little extra bling to light up the night is always good, especially when they send them for free!🤩 I’m about ready to buy some more lights myself for when I get my old REO running again. The last lights I got was when you added your 1 inch marker lights on the side of the sleeper. I bought some for my trailer. I didn’t get them installed before winter though. Looking forward to it though. Those breather lights look cool. Keep us posted on the bumper. Blessings to you & your family my friend. Keep safe! ✌️❄️🥰
I sure am glad I don't live back there. It does get cold here but, nothing like that. BRRR! Nice job as always, Ezra.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EZ RIDER, LOOKIN GOOD DRIV,AH LOOKIN GOOD..
Awesome vid Ezra, and the wires are short for many applications but most every 379 and all 389s come from the factory with the pigtail to hook up air cleaner lights. I figured that is the manufacturers thinking, even Trucklite provides minimal wire, so it's not really a Partsam issue. Happy NEW YEAR
Luv those old air cans, I think I would put those chrome nut covers, over the cleaner nuts. Those lights would set it off. Great truck Ezra, hope uand family have a great year!!
Old Red looks amazing Ezrider359. Happy New Year.
Love it
Happy New Year to you and family Ezra
Hey Ezra,Happy New Year to you my friend.
Another great episode, thanks for that.
I’m sure PartsAM would appreciate your review of their lights and the positive feedback on how they could further improve their product.
I was a bit concerned with the way you have the wires exiting the air cleaner hat. With time the sharp metal edges of the grille may rub through the insulation on the wires, leading to a short circuit. May I suggest putting a rubber grommet around the wires to lessen this happening.
Keep up the great work, we’re enjoying following your journey with Old Red.
Really happy to see this about this brand of lights, I just purchased some to replace what was a poor installation on my truck. I was Leary being the price was nearly half of what was is getting replaced.
They have always been good lights for me
Ezra,HAPPY NEW YEAR,..BIG RED LOOKS GREAT BE SAFE MY FRIEND
Enjoy all information you share too use. I have 81 peterbilt single head lights 10 wheeler 3406a It blue with silver fenders.
Nice job with the install Ezra 🙂👍 The lights look great! Here's to 2023 my friend 🥳 Happy wrenching 🔧🔩
Happy new year!
Happy New Year, EZ!!!
🎉🎇🏆🎆
All I want for Christmas... is a new ezrider episode!😁👍
look awesome
Nice addition to ole Red . I might have read the instructions wrong but the other wire is for blinkers.
He lives!!
Show the truck of with Amber marker lights , I’ve also seen watermelon mounted Along the sun visor on a peterbilt 389 quad dump truck in New. Jersey that interchanged between different colors
Looks great.....hooking up red wire would make lights double bright....like dual function lights....
Happy New Year Ez! 🎆
Woow awsome
I didn't know red was 12v. That'll be a lot of amps on a cold start!
All the best for 2023 👍
No I have same system people don't realize how led lights are such a low draw u can have 100s and still a very low draw leds are definitely the best way to go!
@@scrappyhustler7467 I wasn't as clear as I could have been 😂
Led lights do indeed draw a fraction of the current of conventional bulbs.
I meant that in a 12v system (as opposed to 24v) the starter draws twice the current - that'll be a lot 😊
Yes sir. Good ole ohm's law. Pretty much every truck for the US market after the 1970's is 12v
@@tramptruck4859 Given the age of the truck, it likely has a series/parallel solenoid that will kick over the wiring of the batteries to 24V while cranking.
It’s even worse than that. The current is double, so the voltage drop is double. But the initial voltage is half, so as a percentage it’s four times!
(Eg: 1.2v drop at 24v, 5%. Double the current, 2.4v drop. But the input voltage was 12v so it’s 20%! Oof. I’m upgrading my RV’s system to 48v for everything other than the engine)
Always thought those lights in the air cleaner looked great.
Nice! Pretty her up a little bit. One suggestion I might add; if you want to 'de-salt' that truck, you would do yourself a big favor using some stuff called 'Salt-Away'. I've been around salt water boats for most of my life (I'm 65 now), and this is one of those products that stands out and works wonders. Skeptical as I am, I had to do my own testing. First, coming back from a fishing trip, I hand washed the boat on the trailer with soap and water and brush. Rinsed it all off good, let it sit for 24 hours, and did my test for salt residue. I licked my finger and went right down the side of the hull and tasted it. Damn, I could still taste salt. Unbelievable! Thought I did a super-duper good job. Then, next test, the next time I came back from fishing, I did the same thing. Only this time I took the Salt-Away and sprayed/rinsed it down good. That's all I did was rinse it down after washing. Let that sit for 24 hours and did my test again. Viola! No salt taste what-so-ever. The real test is time. After several years of the salt water environment, the boat still looks like new. None of the normal corrosion. Heck, it even looks like I waxed it! Leaves a nice shiny appearance. Flush my engines with it and everything. How easy could it be....spray it on and walk off.

Seeing the third red wire I thought that it might be to use as a turn signal which I think would be pretty cool. The air cleaner lights look great.
I think it possibly is ment to be used that way, looking at their website it has a poor description but they do show it as a dual brightness for use as a signal.
@@chrisblore1357 Thanks Chris, Most all other tail lights come with a white (ground), Black (tail) and red (turn/brake) wires. So what you describe makes sense
In Ezra's defense the wires are marked white (GND) black (LV) red (HV) and below the wire markings it's marked 3023 - 12V/24V. This is what's on the Amazon site.
Got a bunch of partsam lights on my motorhome and other vehicles
The truck is a real beauty Ezra. The old Petes are so classy, and you have done a remarkable job of restoring her!! What was the soap can on your spray wand. I have just a soap container on pressure washer and a hose to draw the soap out. Yours looked to work much better.
It's called a foam Cannon
nice
