I like this new segment with Alyssa interviewing up and comming actors.Alyssa brings a fresh young vibe to the table. I was skeptical at first but over time she has won me over. I like her youthfull energy and input. It's needed and even though she is the Repulican voice on the panel she isn't over the top or rude when making her points. I say she is a keeper.....
Ok Alyssa! I see you sis with these interviews! I don’t really agree with her politics, but Alyssa really is a breath of fresh air and brings a good vibe to the show. I actually started watching The View right before she became a permanent host, and I think she’s doing a great job tbqh!
The original cast produced the biggest stars and it is heartwarming to see a new generation of talents young performers stepping into those big shoes!! I loved the book and the movie so wish I could see this play!!

It's like the producers and Whoopi were like "we're not gonna let you talk during Hot Topics, and in exchange we will give you these segments near the end of the show when ppl have stopped watching." Jokes on them tho: the more Alyssa does these, the more she endears herself to the audience, and it'll pave the way to even better for her.

I actually watch these segments. That’s how good Alyssa is at interviewing. She’s very engaging and natural at it!
