I redid the gameplay using another emulator because the sound was bad in the previous video; and now I used the gameboy green palette.

This looks amazing. It's a homebrew that blows me away. Great work! Do you think it's possible to implement a run option? I mean it would be like double tapping one direction or make it standard since movement is very slow unfortunately. But still: impressive! Do you still plan to make it a full demake with everything it needs to have until the escape from the lab?

Just be thankful that this isn't the NES version which was a shameful and half-hearted attempt at a Resident Evil game that was made years earlier by an illegal pirating company based in China.

The music's still not that good and the sprite work could certainly be better. This has a long way to go; especially as the canceled official GBC port seems more solid than this at the current moment in time.
I don't want to start a fight but I just don't think you are aware of the gameboy (dmg) limitation... its processer is half that of the gbc... sprite limitations, screen memory, tile count limits etc. Its very easy to say it should be better without actually understanding what goes into something like this. Saying that the sprites could look better but when Jill alone takes half the sprite memory on screen it becomes a different matter.
