- Wow, 6 years later here it is folks.
If you want to know why we never finished it, its cause Christmas came went, and so did our motivation.
(artist note: Also never colour anything ever).

Well, it's nice to finally get some closure on this project. It couldn't have been an easy decision to let it go (heh) and release it in this state, but I much prefer to see it this way than not at all, so thank you =)
Thanks Monsparkle :D We're glad you like it as is, we're such perfectionist when it comes to our works, we finally just had to tell ourselves to let it go and move on. Can't keep telling ourselves we'll come back to this when it's just not true.

In this specifically case, I feel somekind of hate-love feeling because they took a loooooong time to share this animatic and they do it incomplete XD

Being honest, I've been following this dudes since 2014, so... I really have this feeling of apache love since they made me wait 3 years for I know those eyes XD

God, this animatic (when it was a preview) inspired me SO much as a kid. It inspired me to get into visual storytelling, as the rest of your animatics have. Actually, I started writing BECAUSE of this channel. I would like to thank you all these years later, Inkpotts. Thank you for introducing me to an entirely new world of creativity. Wishing you both the best. ❤️
Even when they're just storyboard's they have so much charm and expression. That's part of what drew me into your channel in the first place.
I remember going back to the update video so I could watch all the clips over and over for "In the Dark of the Night", "What's This", and "I Know Those Eyes/This Man is Dead". So, seeing the full storyboard/animatic for this song was a real treat!
Seriously, thank you for continuing to inspire me all these years. And I look forward to seeing what you have planned in the future no matter how long it takes. ^^

Oh man, I think I remember watching the preview for this in that one update video what... 5 hears ago somehow? Almost 6. Time is weird. 14 year old me is coming back and even though it's 2am and I'm in college now I have the urge to rewatch all the animatics on this channel for nostalgia lol
Motivation is a very fickle thing and I understand perfectly how the only thing keeping you tied to an unfinished project is the potential expectations of your viewers. This is a very real struggling that sent many people into a loop of shame, guilt and sleepless nights. I'm just glad you managed to get out of it and I really look forward to what you put up next, no matter when or about what it'll be :)

They always The right characters to use for songs
makes me wish nightmare moon came back as separate entity from luna. Then showing character development as she slowly turns good...well goodish. I see her as sort of anti-hero in a way since she seems prefer get her hooves dirty. Good job btw
