Wow, the landscape is so vibrant! The view from that peak is just insane--the calm blue water is to die for.
Those views are incredible! Definitely worth all the hard work to get there! Love the snap transition between the top and bottom. OMG I geek out over little animals in the yard and being able to cook my own food too!

the best part of a trek is when you get to the destination and look upon the beautiful views, it is the most rewarding feeling ever :) Beautiful lodge you stayed in! Looks like a nice place to relax :)

Wow you guys are taking the interesting route around NZ! Most tourists do Queenstown/Wanaka then up to Aoraki then Tekapo
What a trek! But totally worth the views :) I was only going to visit Australia, but now I have to make sure to see New Zealand too! is renting a car the best way to see New Zealand? or are there good public buses too? :) what a beautiful place! so lucky that you got to see seals!
