- A tour of the Hobbit and Lord of The Rings movie set? We didn't even think about that, but Hobbiton was a surreal world and we enjoyed our tour of the film set a lot! We had a great time there and then enjoyed the Waikite Thermal Pools to rest and enjoy.

This is exactly what I want to do when I go to New Zealand the Hobbit/lord of the Rings tour My fiancé loves the series I can't wait to show him this thank you guys for sharing!! I always wondered what it was like!

Lovely video as always! I think this is one of my favorite looks at Hobbiton I've seen so far. I really appreciate you showed the cool sets but also how many other tourists were there with you. Makes it more of a realistic experience. I'm so jealous though I really want to visit here. ;) Also enjoyed the tip on the hot springs! You're really making me want to road-trip New Zealand.

It is... It feels a little bit out of this world to be honest,... When we drove there in the bus it was actually raining, then we got out and the sun came out, very lucky :)
When i went there 6 weeks ago the weather was miserable. Didn't stop my group from enjoying the tour anyway. Thanks again Riley! :)

Oh maaaaaaan I am so jealous right now! I am a massive Tolkien nerd (my upper back tattoo is one of his poems) so I have wanted to do this for so long. :) And those pools look so nice!

They do, I was so surprised :) haha. Also, the first drink is included in the entrance :D
So cool! This is on my bucketlist haha. Is it possible to visit early in the morning, or late in the afternoon, when there aren't many other people? Also, the hot springs look amazing!!
I guess there wouldn't be too much early in the morning.... Would probably be the better time to do it :)

It surely is huge... Some people don't do it, but we would surely recommend it...

There were earthworks already happening when i was there. Our guide told us they're going to expand it so that the view from the hill looks even more "middle-earth ish" somehow. No clue really ;)

Sunshine there, peaceful little hills, some underwear... looks exactly like the Shire ;) Haha, with under water camera's the water is always on the lens where your face is supposed to be ;) Like murphy's law in modern version :D

Ooooohhh, did you sneak into any Hobbit holes like we did? (Shhhh keep it a secret). Really disappointed we didn't do any thermal pools now as that looked incredible! We wanna come back.... 😔
Yes we did, just didn't catch it on camera :D Stupid... Haha, yes, we only did them by chance really..
The hobbit set is so cute haha Were the beers in the pub small as well? We would love to be in those pools right now. Ita freezing in Korea.

A black swan? No, we didn't.. I guess we missed out.
Someday Maybe yea! There was black swan in the lake next to green dragon/mill. Cool animal. You will probably see them, at least we saw whole flock of them.
It looks so much like the place of the Teletubbies, haha. Funny how they created an entire village of it! The pools look freaking divine, how did you ever make it out of those? ;)
You are right, that place looked similar. Now I'll probably dream of those teletubbies :D
Oh yes, it was tough, but after they threatened to pull us out of the pools we finally left...
Hobbiton looks so cute and the music is on point! Can people actually stay there? And of course no honeymoon is complete without hot springs! ;)
Haha, yes, I thought out regular music wouldn't quite cut it here... So went for something a little different. Yep, the hot springs were definitely a must :)
Was there any hobbit walking around in the Hobbiton or they're all hiding? I wasn't able to see any of the Lord of the Rings movies including The Hobbit. Because for some reason I fell asleep on the 1st movie. (embarassing but it did happened. haha) But I want to go to the Hobbiton! I'ld like to try their bar too
