I'm thinking of caulking, but don't know which kind to use. Your excitement is like a squirrel with a nest full of acorns. Enjoy!
NIce. I wanted a topper for my 8' long nissan titan bed. Price, over 5k. Really. So, I built a cab over topper 6' high with rounded corners, like the Alaskan series campers. Cost 2k. Well worth it. Been camping and fishing with it in Colorado. Had a RV dealer stop me ask where I bought it and explained its home built. Weighs about 400lbs. Wood with 7oz fiberglass over it. Now over 3 years old and no leaks, have 4 wheeled in rough terrain and thousands of miles on it. Good luck with yours.

There is a reflective blanket like the pieces of reflective panels you have used on your camper for draping over your roof...it has grommets and I use long bungee cords to secure to truck wheel well and door handles...it really reflects heat from camper shell top. Repurpose it from Camping blanket .... I think Ozark makes one. I get mine from Amazon. Rescue B enjoyed the camper shell video!! It so cool to hear you excited about it!

Then someone gave me the book as a gift, to inspire road trips in the future. Only it would be "Travels with Moki and Koda" (my border collie mixes) in a minivan named Bluebird. Mmmm..."Travels with Pearl"? Do you keep a journal when you travel? Congratulations on a pearl of a camper! Happy trails.
Be careful with those newer style Leers! It is "such a good, tight fit" that it has actually taken some of my paint off the back quarter panel and down the sides of the bed!
That white truck would look great with the OTR black paint. Anybody running an old chevy or ford vintage camper shell on these newer rams? Not sure how I feel about spending $2500 for a camper for my 6 yr old truck.

The tailgate seal keeps the dust out of the bed too. Without it negative pressure sucks dust and dirt in. Looks great enjoy it.
Clint Price what else do you need besides the camper, clamps, and tailgate seal? Is the seal something that comes in a can ?

How do you close the back glass door from inside? My leer cap does not have an interior handle?
mine doesn't either...I just pull it in...then brace the inside movings parts with a small stick...works good as a lock from inside
