Anakin never realized just how good a friend Kenobi was. He put aside much of his own growth as a Jedi to train him. He turned a blind eye toward Anakin's romance with Padme, knowing what it meant to him. He protected Anakin's children. Then he taught him how to be a force ghost.

He also called him a Lower life form, manipulated padme to find his location and held him back out of fear. They had a nuanced relationship.

@@williamcartwright373 He said that lower life form comment as a 25 year old padawan who was already annoyed with Qui Gon taking along Jar Jar . Rude yes , immature yes, but he was a padawan. He was still nice to Anakin after saying that. comment .Later he agreed to train him so either his earlier comment was insincere or he dropped the sentiment .
He held back Anakin because he knew he Anakin was a rash person. Had Palpatine not been around to manipulate that it would have been the correct decision. He used Padme to find him after he feel to the dark side and the events that followed.
Kenobi clearly cared for Anakin and sought what was best for him.

I love this! Padme and Luke both believed in Anakin. They both loved him. His story is so tragic, a slave his entire lifetime, until Luke set him free. Great video!

My personal theory was that his love for Luke was an extension and only living reminder of what he once shared with Padme. He knew he lost her in a diabolical way after being manipulated by Sidious and being his lapdog all this time for nothing.
Vader probably still thought of ruling the galaxy together with Luke. But after his hand and saber was lost and the Emperor about to kill his son, he knew right there that plan was no longer viable. So thinking what was said in the first paragraph, Anakin immediately, and without a second thought, did what he had to do for his own sake and his son.

That was a good video📸 I would like to think that Anakin join the force from the dark side and tried to apologise to Obi-Wan but he interrupted Anakin and said welcome home friend.🫡🤌

"It's too late for me, my son."To me,that was an implication of Vader's regret at his turning to the dark side, and hope Luke could resist the same fate.Obi- wan's remarks on Dagobah showed his resentment to Anakin's turn to the Sith.

The most important thing is that he really finally got free thanks to Luke. Especially after the death of Palpatine, who ruined Anakin's life. Poor man, he was so tired of everything that he decided to die heroically to save his son.

Always thought it was interesting that in RotS Anakin was watching the emperor use force lightning on Mace Windu and chose the emperor. Then in RotJ Anakin is watching the emperor use force lightning on Luke and didn't choose the emperor.

heartwarming how evrything turned in the end.
I just hate Disney for their trash Sequels. Haven't even studied what happened and came up with random bullshit through three movies with a Mary Sue leading the way. Yikes.
They should have hired YOU. You seem to understand lore and history. There is so much content you can make multiple movies out of and yet they did.. well what they did.

As much as I like learning about Vader’s backstory more I come to one conclusion about Anakin/Vader is that the character is irredeemable. Anakin/Vader killed children and hunted down the surviving Jedi to near extinction. Vader murdered countless others on a whim without remorse, and he was completely complicit in the destruction of Alderaan. I have no warm fuzzies about his supposed redemption. Sure he fulfilled the prophecy and killed the Sith however, just like his need to save Padmae ‘that turned him to the dark side was selfish so was his need to kill the Emperor to save Luke. He didn’t do it for the greater good, he did it for selfish reasons.

On the contrary, it is good that he has become a ghost of power, helping others not to make the same mistakes as him. Especially knowing from personal experience what the dark side of the force can lead to. Even when the intentions were good: become stronger to save your loved ones.

Look I love that new star wars youtubers are coming out but this is just a legit copy paste of Star Wars Theory video on the same subject. Lots of these new star wars pages somehow make identical videos of the ones the ogs made years upon years ago 😂 let me say the same thing in a different way to get views 😂😂

Well, considering that I read the book and then wrote the script myself, its not a "copy-paste" of anyone's video. When you have numerous creators covering the same IP, of course there's going to be videos about the same story over the years. All I can do is share lore in my own style. 👍
