The first miracle that Jesus performed during His earthly ministry was the changing of water into wine at the wedding feast in Cana. No one was healed, no one was raised from the dead, and no one was fed by a few loaves and fish. This miracle was purely for the enjoyment of the wedding guests. Like a parent who loves to bless his children, God loves to bless us not based on our performance but based on His goodness. The wine that Jesus miraculously produced at the end of the wedding banquet was the best wine of the banquet-a reminder to us that God has saved the best for last!

i found Pastor Gary on UA-cam a couple of mos. ago, I listen/watch his teachings everyday (2 or 3) of them. I find his teachings easy to understand & very informative. He makes it easy to know what is going on in the stories. I read the Bible once cover to cover and didn't understand what the verses were saying. I feel like God brought me to Pastor G to make it easier for me. I praise God for that. I would love to go and see him in person some time. Leesburg isn't so far from Cincinnati. In my early days of Christianity I became involved with a man who invited me and several other Christians to a bible study in his home. He spoke on Jesus' first miracle of turning the water into wine. However, he said that the water wasn't really water, the wine wasn't really wine, and the event was not an actual wedding. Each thing meant something else. I was astonished at his teaching as he went on to say that much of scripture is symbolic, not literal. I didn't know enough to argue with him, yet I somehow knew he was wrong about everything. Later, in thinking about it, none of the other Christians questioned his teachings, either. As time went by I began to learn more about him, particularly that he was a fan of Edgar Cayce, an occultist. Then other things showed me he was not a Christian at all even though he spoke of Christian matters. That bible study began and ended in one session. Nobody went back.

Ok Roger. I am a true believer and have done my research. It is perfectly fine to say Jesus. The Hebrew language was translated to Greek, and there are many different languages in this world. The writers of the New Testament verify this. People who refer to Jesus by this name are not incorrect or disrespectful, and using the names Yehuah, YHWY, or Yeshua doesn't make you especially pious.

I think JESUS did the water into wine as HIS first miracle was HE was beginning to take charge and authority over the element kingdom. HIS miracles if you look at them, they are in a progression of the kingdoms that the devil tryed to get HIM to worship him to get. JESUS knew they were already HIS, and HE progressively takes control and mastery of. Yahushua said he will build His church not churches. There is only one church as it is written in the Bible and that is the church of Yahushua. Since Yahushua condemns division, we need to be part of the one True church that Yahushua established rather than manmade churches.
The church is a collectively of the saved. The saved make up the church. The church is not a building. The church is a people a people belonging to Yahuah.

Can you please pray for me I humbly ask for your prayer. I will really appreciate the prayer for I am under torment of extreme depression and anxiety. I just thinking to quit. Every day God made my soul tortured with extreme fear, sorrow and unhappiness. I repent everyday all the sin my flesh and mind but still I'm anchored and chained in not just ordinary depression and anxiety but extremely. I decided to resign to my job, I had been struggling on my love one relationship, I had a broken mind and shuttered heart, I don't even know what or how to think right, I can't see hope or anything. DM Christian• I can relate, it’s sad that we call on the father day and night and there is still no relief. I also cry everyday and I’m alone in life. God has stripped me from everything and I have no joy. I ask often Him to take my life away from me because there is no point to my existence. I can’t even leave my room to go out to spread the good news to the unsaved because I am in torment myself.
