Finally an honest review.. After I see a movie, I read and watch reviews.. The Characters were terrible people.. I usually like to empathize with someone. I only felt bad for Brian. And the dialogue sucked.
"Great party isn't it?"- The Shining. For those that didn't read the novel, it has the Room 237 older woman having an affair with a younger male guest which lead to her demise. It seems like they they threw everything together along with Molly somewhat being the Scatman Crothers character. Sounds like there's too much going on here and if they simplified, it would be a better film.
I’m beginning to see a trend emerge with these types of writer/directors….expecting chaotic people to write a coherent story seems to be a fools errand.
😅Opening lines from you give me "run for the hills!" aura! ...yep, horror, that women *can do Bad Things* too! Onto the rest of your comments - which was critical but laced with hope, liked that😉😊
Not one that I will be watching again any time soon. I do beleive the joggers were explained. Didn't one of the characters said that they went jogging in the woods near the hotel and got lost and hurt and never made it back?
I didn’t not like this but found it confusing. Didn’t know why that random guy kept coming to the hotel, nothing about Fran made sense and it took me a while to understand that Cal and Ruthie were a couple as they didn’t act like it more right good friends with no romantic vibe but of course I had to see it because, Molly!
I don’t think the other girls were even there…the whole chainsaw scene in the parking lot didn’t happen..the only thing I’m not sure of is if Ruthie was dead also
Honestly, doing lesbian versions of classic horror films is kind of a fun and promising spin on the exploitation film, but this movie was terrible. Utterly awful from top to bottom. The characters are uniformly unlikeable, their behaviors are bizarre, and the story makes no sense. I'm all for a good Shining rip off but this is isn't even coherent. I really can't understand what the hell happened in this movie: She finds out on the internet that her friend who she cheated with is a murderer, then she goes to show her friends her phone, but her phone is dead so they never see the evidence. Then in the very next scene their phones are working but she doesn't bother to show them the evidence that their friend is a murderer and just continues to deny that she cut that one girl's arm? And why wouldn't you call the police if somebody in an oxygen mask and hoody pinned your arm in a door and cut it with a huge blade for no reason? And why were people just walking casually by in the strip mall parking lot while she's chainsawing her friends to death? And the big reveal is that she turned into a psychotic chainsaw killer because her mom boned the handyman? What? Honestly, I can handle a bad movie. They're easy to dismiss or laugh at, but this was so bad I'm actually angry. It sucked so hard that I'm pissed off at it. I want an apology from the people who made this.
Don't think Ruth killed anyone, further short black hair female was restate agent hired by mom, the other two females appear be past guests or acouple that owns one of businesses next hotel. Ruth appears be suffering from extreme loneliness & low confidence.
Hari Nef has this [is it a sleeping wear?] that is one of the ugliest garments I've seen in a long time. --Yeah she's wearing a muʻumuʻu that's like distracting. Whenever that was on screen, I-- I *hated*-- that was giving me the only visceral reaction that this film gave me.
The way Joseph sounded so let down when he said "I didn't care for this one" 😂😂
I didn't get the chainsaw scene because there were people walking over the place and not reacting. That was totally weird!
The shining at motel 6 😂😂😂😂😂
😂
hahaha
“ A lesbian take on Rosemary’s baby” NICK 😂😂😂
This sounds like a definite swing and a miss but the lure of seeing one of my favorite redheads of film, Molly Ringwald, is strong. 😆
She's barely in it and it's not worth putting yourself through this movie to see her briefly.
Molly looked lovely. I think she was also representing "Lady In Red"...
The shining at motel 6 😂😂😂classic line
So many parts of this movie made absolutely no sense to me, but the ending scene in the parking lot made the least sense of all
I've heard about this and was interested. Not so sure anymore. Thanks for the review guys.
Hey Guys, great reviews as per usual.
Consider reviewing Soft & Quiet and Sissy, If You haven't already.
Yea this didn’t do it for me either guys! Great review! Thanks! 😊❤

Just finished watching this - and wanted to know if others hated it as much as me 😅 it had potential but just didn't follow though

Did yall here that cat crying in the back 😅
Annabelle DEXTER Jones 💅🏽 lol
Wow, the plot sounds incredibly complicated.
Molly Ringwald looks great though!
It sounds like I need to watch The Shining. I hear all these references and I still haven’t watched it 😬
You really do. It is a timeless masterpiece.

The only way this movie makes any sense to me is that Ruthie was alone in the hotel. Then she chainsaw'd Brian after he got to curious? Idk, man

The movie was absolutely awful. I can’t comprehend how I actually finished it. I need to purge the taste of this film from my brain ASAP

Seemed pretty interesting until the underwhelming ending.
Hey y'all❤

Ruthie killed her mom…that’s why she had her phone.

The hotel has nipples, Gregg
Great video! 🎉
0:44 what was the joke he didn’t end up saying?😂😂
I wish I could unsee this garbage 😂😂

Hari Nef is also a man.
@@cmonman3639 indeed. i was all about accurate transcripting, but real life accuracy means "he" 😄
didnt like it either. the person who played Cal has a really weird voice does NOT seem like a lesbian, total miscast
Well that actor is a man
@cmonman3639 yeah, i know. totally doesnt mesh as a lesbian, completely distracting to an already bad plot. what's wrong w having an actual lesbian?!
@@stickapot3623 The movie is beyond bad on every level. The trans doesn't do it any favors for sure.
@@cmonman3639 Agreed! woke bs
@@stickapot3623 The other chicks look trans too though lol
“It’s 4 lesbians” 😂😂
Are you SURE about that? 🤔
Juet watched it. Awful.
I didn’t hate this, and loved the performance of the lead, but it’s very confusing that Fran was seeing these visions. Was she supposed to be psychic?
This is the worst movie I have ever seen -- ever.
