I LOVE Stephanie's educational segments and have truly missed them. Please, do more!!
love it too. She really is like her father
Such sweet and thoughtful gifts!!
She could be a tour guide as a side hustle 😂
@@maynardgreenhouse I was a tour guide. A tour guide loves to teach.
Here here!!
Thank you for sharing a video of your visit to the tapestry museum. If not for your video, I would never have known there was such a thing. The museum houses such exquisite works of art. It's truly priceless. I enjoy watching your daily videos. Take care. Lancelot is a wonderful addition to the Lalande household. 😊
I am in awe of the tapestries. They are absolutely beautiful.
Stephanie, thank you so much for these videos. Here in the US, you can't just jump in the car and go to a quaint village with a tapestry museum. I'd never see these things without your videos.
(The addition of 2 dogs just makes it epic!)
I live in the LA area and thought the same thing. Thanks.
Yes, Steph does the best tours for us. Her vast knowledge of all art is amazing, thanks to her father. I’m also loving Lancelot, & watching everyone doting over him. He needs a knight outfit
It’s the same here in Australia. France, well Europe in general, has so much history that each town has had something of historical significance happen there.
I love aubbouson, carpets of mute colours I love,,,, 😊
Oh what fun. Those tapestries are so amaxing. The fact that there still making them the original ways just shows how long they last.
I have the most difficult time believing that the dark haired woman is Marie’s mother! She looks so young. WOW!
Marie’s family are such lovely and thoughtful ladies.
The gifts for Lancelot are perfect. All dogs love squeaky toys… he was so excited.
Love jumper, cup holder and all the banter and fun in the kitchen.
Glad Molly was taken care of too.
The tapestry museum was fabulous. Thank you for another great day.❤❤❤
And most dog lovers hate squeaky toys! Especially when the dog finds it in the middle of the night!
Little pup Lancelot looks adorable in his new Christmas gear.
My heart melted seeing Lancelot in his jumper and then the reindeer outfit. Just adorable. So grateful that Tonton Steven managed to remove the thorn from Molly's paw.❤🐕🦌🌲
Oh my God! Those tapestries are absolutely beautiful.
Lancelot has gotten spoiled. His little outfits are so adorable.
Le Musee d'Aubuison is indeed one of a kind and the tapisteries are extremely beautiful .A must visit.
thank you so much for showing us these exist!! omg!
Incredible tapestries. Just amazing. It would be great to get one of your dads paintings stitched as a tapestry. Lancelot is one lucky puppy. What a wonderful life he is having surrounded by so much love 💕
I thought that exact thing. His art is kinda medieval anyway, with bright colours.
I thought the same. His style and colors really are a modern tapestry.
These tapestries are absolutely beautiful.
Stephanie’s sharing of each tapestry was so interesting. And her videography skills is excellent. She brings to life what the piece is portraying. Also love the part of the video showing the old tapestry town. And of course the heart warming ending. Marie’s mum gave such thoughtful gifts.
The gifts were so cute!
Lancelot's new outfit still has me smiling! xo
This is so uplifting to watch! The tapestries are pure works of art so thank you for sharing & articulating this experience through your artist eye. I have a whole new appreciation for them. Lancelot & his Norwegian puppy outfits are perfection!! The dog walking outfit is adorable.. so kind of Marie’s mum!
I mentioned in a post about a year ago, when Stephanie " takes us" on her outings, it is like a Master class in French Culture, History and Decorative Arts.
Lovely gifts from Marie’s family! Lancelot is a lucky little puppy! 🙏❤️
It's so wonderful seeing Hanni again. Lovely tour of the tapestries and a fun visit with Marie's family.
Thank you SO much for all the joy!! 🫶💞🫶
Thank you for showing us all the wonderful works of art. The one with the peacock looked like watercolor. The last one with the huge trees, sooo impressive!!
Those presents, all SO great!! That Lancelot is already the best dressed dog in France! 👌😂
And the haters… as I saw in the comments… just leave that where it belongs, with the people who refuse to enjoy the love. 😘
I too find the tapestry you love is just wonderful. Its scale is unreal and it gives that impression of walking through the woods a 3 dimensional feel.
Lancelot is such a cutie. Having & loving a pet is the closest thing to having a child, so much tenderness in Stephanie’s face for him.
Lancelot got the best gifts 🎁 by far! He looks magnificent! Stephanie, if I was up in my NY home, I’d definitely love to have that glove, and the jumper is so warm and holiday perfect! Marie’s mom is so sweet. The tapestry’s are so beautiful. What a wonderful place to visit. I think your embroidery machine could make quilt squares of one of your father’s paintings. From there your on your own 🤣🤣🤣 I know nothing of either sorry. ♥️🏰🇫🇷
“At least I hope you’re petting Lancelot” 😂
I can’t wait to see the morning walk where Lancelot is decked out in his holiday outfits and Stephanie has her teacup glove in use!! Epic!!
I would have been in heaven in that tapestry museu. Wow! Thank you for taking us along with you. You are all such dags when it comes to Lancelot. My goodness. He is so cute.
I WANT ONE!!!! A mug mitten!!!😮😮😮😮 what a wonderful invention 🎉
The tea mitten is genius! And Lancelot's pure focus on getting that squeaky toy is adorable - but not quite as adorable as the (much welcome in winter) warm little outfits for him - he's likely cold inside as well as outside the chateau, so they're perfect!
Those tapestries were sensational, thank you for taking us through that museum. The highlight of this video was most definitely seeing Lancelot in his reindeer jacket, he's such a cutie
Such an interesting museum! Unique!❤Superb!!! Thank you for showing it to us, Stephanie!!!!🥰
That tapestry of the woodland was so impressive, just beautiful. That cup holder was fabulous, what a fun gift!!😅Am happy Hannie is back, she is always happy and cheerful.
This is why the whole world is envious of France. The food! I mean, I love the idea of having 5 mini deserts instead of one huge one! Wonderful! Thank you for taking us through the tapestries. They leave you speechless. But I think my favorite thing this time is seeing Lancelot in his reindeer coat! Fabulous!
The tapestries were incredible but I have to say my favourite sight to see was Lancelot in his new outfits. He was majestic! lol
Can I say I really look forward to your daily vlogs.
Cracked me up with Philips “ ok Joan Rivers” comment 😂😂😂
Thank you for the museum tour!!! I am way too old to return abroad and so appreciate being transported to enchanting places and feasting on the beauty that surrounds us!!❤️
This little guy has changed your world for the better. I think he is going to appreciate that hoodie on his winter walks!
Lancelot in his Christmas gear was so adorable!
Lol! That much joy about simple things like a squeaky toy and a mug-mitt around the kitchen table was so nice to watch! Love the banter between you two and love the cozy/gezellige/hygge/mys vibes in the videos lately. ❤ Thanks all for working so hard to keep sharing it with us!
Gorgeous tapestries. Would love to visit that museum..Lancelot looked so adorable in his new winter coat!!
The doggie clothes are so cute. The museum was beautiful with the tapestries.
Being in France six weeks, I cried coming home to concrete, buildings, and cars.
Those tapestries are gorgeous and magical! Makes me want to get back into cross stitch again!
I do like when u go to town. Thanks for taking us along ❤
Lancelot is an adorable toy, he’s got the entire chateau wrapped around his tiny little paw.
Such beautiful tapestries. They seem to truly come alive! So reassuring to see such workmanship still is alive in this instant world.
Molly seem to gently appreciate so much, Steven's kindness.
And such lovely thoughtful gifts by Marie's mum, specially the cup holder! Enjoyed! ❤❤❤
Well done, Steven 👏👏👏
It's good to see Hanni back for a while ❤
Lancelot is absolutely adorable❤It’s enjoyable to watch him every day he makes a wonderful member of the family truly a wonderful doggie 🐶
What a truely great episode...Laughed my non Christmas sox off!
We always learn such fascinating details as we travel about with you.
Just got to see Stephanie and Lancelot walking in their Christmas attire. Absolutely love the look.❤❤❤
Stephanie, you should have one of your father’s paintings made into a tapestry. They are so conducive to that form. Something to think about🥰🙏
I want to see more of Lancelot in his SPECIAL coats!!!!! Absolutely entertaining for all and warms him up too! Gives me a big smile!
I am so enjoying how you are sharing the local sites lately. Please continue! Thanks!
Love the daily vlogs, thanks Lalanders 🍁🍂
Great museum. Glad to see the gorgeous Hanni back in the fold.
Had no idea these tapestries exist. Thank you for showing me there is so much to discover in the world❤
The Studio Ghibli movie is called Howl's Moving Castle, amazing tapestry and amazing museum. I am missing the Travel's with My Friend, so really enjoyed this Vlog.
Thank you as always - Bindi, love from Oz!🥳👏🥰🐝🐝🌻🌼☀️🌞
The cup glove is great. Want one
✨wow ✨ just wow. This is why we love you; beauty, exquisite French towns, education, friendship, gorgeous personalities , kindness and a dog in reindeer suit 👏🏼👏🏼 come on!!👏🏼👏🏼
Beautiful lunch and incredible tapestry museum!!
Lovely gifts from Marie’s mom and Lancelot is stying just as much as his mom and dad!! How precious.
Love from Mary in Southern California 💗
Those cartoon Tapestries are amazing! That Reindeer hoodie just made my whole night! That is adorable!!!!!!!!!!!
The tapestries are gorgeous! It’s mind boggling at how much work goes into making just 1 of them. It is truly a beautiful form of artwork. The mitten to hold a hot beverage was the coolest thing! And the doggie reindeer coat…..💙🐶🥰😂😂
The tapestry museum was amazing. Love the gifts from Marie's family.
The most perfect knitwear ever.
Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful tapestry museum with us! And getting to celebrate Norwegian Christmas with wonderful gifts is so much fun to see for this American Norwegian!
I just love little Lancelot! Beautiful tapestries, and what a pretty little town!
Aww that was lovely :)
I love these exploration road trips to museums - that was incredible and such beautiful scenery. Lancelot looks adorable in his reindeer coat! It’s perfect for him 😉.
Dear Marie, your Mom had most exquisite presents for Stephanie and Philip and Lancelot! How much fun you all had! Thank you!
Lancelot's reindeer hoodie is adorable.❤
Loved the tapestries, Stephanie ❤😊🇦🇺
OH WOW. I missed seeing Annie on the vlogs, you guys make a great team. Those studio ghibli tapestries are AMAZING. Great vlog
Thank you so much for taking us on your journey to the tapestry museum in Aubusson. I have watched it twice already and what the modern designers/artists have brought to this ancient tradition is uplifting. And to see Miyazaki`s world come alive in the tapestries you showed us brought me immense joy.
Thank you so much for helping me bond with my nephew through this tapestry.
@@amyschneidhorst1384 Isn´t wonderful when such disparate arts as Japanese anime and tapestry can be a bonding experience? Thank you for sharing. It made my day.
Seeing all those tapestries I couldn’t help but to think how amazing one of your dad’s paintings would be as a tapestry!
Never knew tapestry could be so amazing...
Steph you are the best presenter I have ever seen. Your way with words is just perfection. Your skills once again shone when you gave us a tour of that museum. Thank you for the daily vlogs.
He is too adorable
The tea cup mitten!!! Brilliant
The tapestries were gorgeous. My favorite thing was the gifts from Norway🤩😍
I have to agree cutest dog ever!!!
Love the Aubusson tour and the tapestrey with the "Lancelot dog" looks like one of your father's paintings Stephanie. Thank you, for another great vlog. Swan
STELLAR VIDEO❤God Jul ,to Marie loving Family ,❤️Love the Love ❤️ going around the Table at the ❤Chateau ❤
What a beautiful place and stunningly beautiful tapestries. Lancelot is just adorable in his little outfits and being carried in your bag 😂🥰❤️
Amazing museum. Being an interior designer and a seamstress anything to do with fabric and wallpaper thrills me!
You really “need” to reveal where Steven gets his clothes. His sartorial splendor knows no bounds and I want to get my husband some of those amazing shirts!!
Tapestry heaven. I will be visiting there. Your dear father's artwork do remind me of tapestries.
Thank you, thank you, +++ for sharing the tapestries, really beyond belief, the wonderful work. ❤️ and the elephant one is my favourite. The size of them ! Wow! WCL
I have not visited a tapestry museum and am learning so much. They are akin to paintings in that they tell a story. Seeing the loom helped me feel how it could be construed as drudgery to make one. It seems a shame step on them as rugs. Cold stone walls needed those for insulation. Thank you for the excursion.
those tapestries were so gorgeous! no wonder the carpets are so expensive everything done by hand - wow!!
I am so happy that Lancelot will be cultured--a very parental responsibility thing to do! Lancelot is a very interesting pup, very curious and seemingly interested in everything.
Hi La Landers!
It truly makes my heart sing to see how much love and attention Lancelot is getting every day from you La Landers! Elizabeth Goodrich, Texas USA
Omgosh, this brings back memories for me about buying my late Shitz Tzus wi ter wardrobe. She loved her bubble baths and pretty clothes....grooming was her first love. Lancealot is way too adorable ❤
Those tapestries, I have no words. Each one was exquisite. As was Sir Lancelot in his new regalia.
Poor Molly that must’ve been really painful. Thank goodness he got it. What beautiful tapestries! Your little boy is such a good pup! The photography done in this or videography was absolutely incredible Philip really really well done. Thank you so much for taking us with you. Loved all the Norwegian goodies, but not nearly as much as Lancelot did. That was so cute. 🤟🏻💜😎🐬✌🏻🇺🇸
What JOY!! Lancelot is looking ready for The Holidays lol. I love when you take use on a learning trip like this. I will most likely never see those Tapestries in real life but I feel like I have now. Thank you ❤
I thought the Tolkien tapestries took the cake - but the Studio Ghibli ones truly took my breath away. Especially the final one you showed depicting a scene from Princess Mononoke.
Loved this!!! More Lancelot! ❤️❤️❤️
Well I can see now that Lancelot will have to have his own little room with plenty of shelves for clothes and accessories etc. Loved the tapastries, I used to make them years ago much smaller of course but I found them so rewarding when finished. I love the Lalande daily family interaction, so real life. I visited Norway many years ago and stayed for months, I got hooked on the way they knitted using a circular knitting needle, always use them still even in straight knitting as its easier on the hands and the arthritis. Thank you all. 💕🇦🇺
I used to always knit with circulars. Unfortunately, I can't even do that anymore. I miss it like crazy!! My favorite thing to knit was socks and of course for that you use very small needles and very thin yarn which exacerbated my arthritis.
