both sound super; this 10M seems to have just a little more edge than the 30M. little deeper sound for the 30M. I’ve owned 4 >10Ms 1 >30M all original. loved them all. Fab Sound Man !
Of the ones that I've played ('42 30m, '46 10m-rth, and '49 10m-w/o rth), I find the 30m seems a bit darker (even more noticeable when compared to the '49 10m). The keywork mechanics are, of course, different between the models and I find the 30m to be noisier. I especially don't like the mechanics of the righthand G# trill key on the 30m. It moves both up and down from its stationary position which (to me) makes it a floppy nuisance even when I'm not using it. The more stationary G# trill key on the 10m models, which only goes down, remains unnoticed while playing the horn. That said, love the low end on the 30m and also like the lefthand pinky key table.
Both horns sound awesome. 10M more edgy, a bit brighter and a tad more focused. 30 more lush, dark, spread sound....a 10M on steroids. 🤣 Both sound fills the room up...butvthe 30M blows the roof off. 😁😆😅🤣😂
Omg, your amazing! I definitely want a 10m now.
@@bluscorpion thank you!
Your tone and phrasing are succulent. Highly commended
Thanks so much!
Cool 30m! I have a 1940 30m in lacquer, a beast of a horn!
Awesome!!
Both sounds really great Daniel!
I would take though the 30M
👍✌️
Both are great!!

Very nice - what’s the mouthpiece/reed setup? I’m a Conn Artist(haha) and have Chu Berrys and a 30M, I exclusively play vintage Links, 6, 6*, or 7*.
Hey that was a Navarro Maestra with Select Jazz!
Both sound insanely good - or is it just you? 😉 Is the 30M available? ...I'm looking for one.
Thank you! Unfortunately the 30M is sold but I have a 10M for sale
@@DanielChiaOfficial Do you still have the 10M?
🎷❤
……..the 30M is richer with great intonation and blood & guts thrown in for good measure (Bar none!) punny, right?
Yeah they are both amazing horns!
