Great video. Question: Can I host a big Zoom meeting (say, 50-100 participants) from my phone? I do this kind of meeting all the time on fiber optics, cable and DSL, but what about cellphone?How much Mbps up or down do I need for a reasonable quality? Or a lower quality without freezing? Obviously, most participants will have to remain muted, and some will have their video off, but is a typical cellphone connection speed enough for a big meeting like this? Thanks for watching! If you've got strong cell service, I don't think this would be a problem, that said tue largest group I've hosted from my phone was around 12. I think it's of course important you look professional and cell service can at times be sketchy, not to mention audio

@@MarkSavant Thanks. If I had a choice I would use a wired connection. We have only a."5G business Internet" which has "up to 50mbs download and up to 10 mbs upload." Hate to find out whether it works in the middle of a big meeting.

@randymtl I agree! Better to be safe than sorry in the middle of a large meet!! I don't have specific experience with your exact specs. I'd recommend sending Zoom a support ticket to confirm.
I do know Zoom has limits on amount of guests and duration based on your plan tier!

Thanks, Mark. When I schedule a meeting as the host, do I need to enter that particular meeting from the link I sent out? Or, do I just start a meeting? When I've done the latter, my guests have told me that they are getting a message that I'm on a different6 meeting. thanks..

If you preschedule a meeting and send a link before hand, you need to join that same meeting. go to My Account > Meetings > Upcoming Meetings.
Pick the meeting you scheduled out!
