Nice documentary .... but most modern scann apps have usually an automatic sizing so you do not need to use this blue line thing to reszize the document... but cuz of its free i think thats ok :)
Not Just Computer Illiterate 12-24-17 I'm not just "computer illiterate", I'm computer Cro-Magnon. The only advantage I have is that I love to read, so I'm "literate" in that department and also where, hopefully, someone can help me. I can dig it when it comes to organizing files. Years ago my friends used to say that I was "the most organized person they'd ever seen". At that time, years ago, I was a kinda-sorta “activist”. I used to raise hell and “fight city hall” in San Bernardino, California. And during this time I documented what was going on and accumulated a lot of files. Friends saw this and liked to call me “organized”. Then I started getting into issues about “Israel” and “Islam”. Again, years ago I “studied the issues” and tried to keep files on things like Marijuana, Free Speech, Open Records, or rather “Public Records”. You can go read a letter I wrote to some friends in my Facebook Notes titled....Surprise! “Public Records”. However, this Islam and Israel thing has gotten completely out of hand. I not only have books that go almost from floor to ceiling, but several filing cabinets stuffed with articles, essays and reports. Biographies, statistics, etc. I've got dozens of those green Staple Store folders with massive essays in them in file drawers and on the bookshelves. And I still don't have room for the hundreds of other articles I've got piled up all over my “office”. Again, I'm not really that technologically savvy. I've seen those “Notebooks”? Those things that look like computer screens without the keyboards. They're about ten inches by eight inches...something like that. Again, I love to read. love, Love, LOVE to read. Aside from books I read from a half a dozen to a dozen articles in the morning. I usually attack many of these with pen and pink and yellow hi-lters. I've wondered if they have these Notebooks, or whatever they are, where you could submit the pages of an article and hilite them the same way you do with paper. Or have some kind of stylus where you can write on the screen and add notes the same way you do with paper. I kinda see a sorta filing cabinet in miniature using one of these Notepads or Notebooks. But I've never been able to find anything like that, let alone afford one. They usually go for about three or four hundred bucks. And that might as well be three or four thousand bucks. My question, I suppose, is; Is there anything like that out there? I LOVE this Adobe Scan app idea. I think I remember another type software that did the same thing but it cost buku bucks. I think it organized in some way. I can't remember. There's two books; Taken Into Custody and The War Against Boys that have these ass kicking Introductions and Prefaces respectively that I wanted copies of. They're on Amazon books but some of the paragraphs were cut out for “copyright” reasons and actually writing the whole thing myself would be a huge pain in the ass. I wonder if this app can copy these documents and convert them into documents like this letter I'm writing. In other words, not the “photo” of these articles but a regular document. I'm kind of an info-junkie as well. I guess that goes along with being someone who loves to research. Anyway, for those of you who were kind enough to read this comment, if you know of which I speak, I would appreciate any help. Again, I'm big on this “Israel” and “Islam” issue. To give you an idea where I'm coming from I've got a big “STAND WITH ISRAEL” sign in my front window of my home. I've studied Islam for about eight years as well as this “Israel/Palestinian” issue. I would sure love to reduce these piles of articles. But I know one thing; I am way over my head when it comes to organizing this mess I have now. Even if I found some handy-dandy way to organize I'm not sure I'd even know where to start. You have “issues” on top of “issues”. And then there are “sub-issues” or side issues or related issues. It's like you have one article that can go into two different files on related issues..... See what I mean? I do this all on my own. Rather I'm kind of an armchair activist when it comes to raising hell about “Islam” and Islamic terrorism and things like “radical mosques” in the United States. I've got dozens of articles, bios, files on “Imams” and “Mosques” and Muslim organizations in the US that are pro-terrorist. Anyway, I don't mean to get political, but I just wanted to explain what I'm doing to give you an idea. Again, any help would be appreciated. Larry A. Singleton Riverside, CA.
Sorry, you said FREE then you said it goes to Adobe Cloud. That is not free (is it?) How do you find it for those that have the cloud? Why not just us Google Drive app, click the camera, take picture, and do the same fix, and then save it to the free Google Drive.
Sure but you need to have a good smart phone with very good camera. If you have cheap smart phone with 6 Mpx cam. Forget it. The image will be blurry and unreadable.
How do u transfer documents from Cs scanner to Adobe, pls?? I don't have the hardcopies anymore.
I had no idea this app even existed! Thank you so much. It sure will make life easier!
What you didn't cover here was exactly HOW to send the PDF file attached to an email. That's what I couldn't figure out. Click 'Share a copy'!
Such a brilliant time- and sanity-saver! Also, that recipe sounds delicious. ;)
You didn't cover OCR or explain the de-parallax properly.
Can you adjust content ? If you want to change the content. Like 1/2 cup instead of 1
Thanks for the tut :) I tried it and it didn't do the OCR to make the document into text. Is there something else I have to do? Thanks!
Did you get an answer to your question? This is a key detail that I'm looking for, too.
Me too I did see this option at all. That was the reason I downloaded it.
I love this scan app. So helpful. I can't believe it's free.
