- An original star of "The Office," a musical legend, and a beloved Bond girl. For some reason, these stars barely made a ripple in the media when they died in 2024.

Rest in peace.

Not a Actor Or Anything But My Stepdad Felix Cartagena passed away on April 20th he was 42 years old he liked El Chavo Del Ocho, Nintendo, Alvin and The Chipmunks (2007-2015), and fixing Cars He was good people I tell ya what
I'm so sorry for your loss RIP
Only 42? That's sad, my condolences to you and your family. My dad passed away at 52 years old when I was a teenager. I know it's hard.
I hope all is well with you Jamal. Love from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Sorry to hear that bud.
I'm so sorry for your loss, you have my deepest condolences 🙏 I lost my dad at 24 and my mom at 37, I'm 43 an it still hurts me but I know they are always with me. Your dad will always be with you too. Once again you have my deepest condolences.
I was extremely sad when Mr. Walsh died. A person I've always admired.
We shall all hold a moment for Mr Walsh
Great character actors. Been in so many good films.
These people deserve the respect they truly deserve
Thanks for the wonderful times and entertainment you've given us, God bless you and your families. PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE ❤❤.
I met James Kotak at a club in Hollywood where we went for a MSG concert a few years ago. It was shortly after he had been fired from the scorpions and was working to revive his original band kingdom come. I didn’t find out about his death until April 13 when I saw the scorpions in Las Vegas and they did a tribute song in his memory. He may not have been a big star, but he was truly a very down to earth and friendly person. RIP my friend.
Getting old ain’t for the faint of heart.
Your children? My friends will miss me more, sadly
Truth They are really not the golden years. More like the wonder years
It ain’t for the strong of heart either for old age is the literally process of loosing strength, until the person eventually morts.
@@ILOVETHEHOLYLAND thats stating the obvious... Love the holy land and love the Lord. Hebis our goal and eternal life
*HE is the goal and eternal life
E Emmett Walsh was great in Harry and the Hendersons
Yes!
My thoughts and prayers are with the families.
To be honest, the only person I know from this list of people was M. Emmet Walsh. I'd never heard of any of the others. Not that I'm the standard, but I'd be willing to bet it's why their deaths never made big news. A lot of little known people from the entertainment world die and we never hear of it. And for reference, M. Emmet Walsh's death was mentioned on a lot of sites and shows, including mainstream media. I'm not really sure he should be included in this list.
Emmet also played in tales from the crypt
He did many roles .
"The Jerk".
@@jayharris5146He hates these cans!
STAY AWAY FROM THE CANS!!!
No offense to anyone. May they all rest in peace. I am NOT surprised that these artists' passings went mostly ignored by the media. I have known since I was a child that there are A LOT of wonderful artists in the world, but the media only promotes the chosen few, for a variety of reasons. These are generally the ones who are making the titans of the entertainment industry the most millions. These folks are shoved down our throats (e.g. Madonna, New Kids on The Block, NSYNC, Justin Bieber, etc.) while others (e.g. Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, RUSH, etc.) are ignored.
Your right just like when ray charles died he was basically ignored because Ronald Regan died same week big deal ray Charles should’ve been recognized just as well
No it's who's most popular an that's the people who are making them popular thts all it is they couldn't be promoted that much if they weren't in demand
@@blairturner139 Ha Ha! 😂 The old "The Chicken or The Egg Debate." Are they promoted because the public demands them or does the public demand them because they are promoted? There IS a reason that corporations spend millions of dollars on advertising, promoting their products and it is NOT because the public is clamoring for their product it IS because the public is NOT.
I was mentored by a famous writer and actor, he was on Bonanza years ago, wrote a book called Too Rich:Murder of Doris Duke and helped produce the original American Gladiators show. Among other things, he died back in fall last year. Never got the recognition although people probably didn't know he passed
What was his name?
HELLO EVERYONE AND GOD BLESS US ALL 👍🏿 😎 👍🏿
Harry Johnson.. ha! Parents were jokesters haha
M. Emmit Walsh went out with a perfect record though.😉
Speaking of death, John Goodman does not look healthy.
Extreme weight loss and aging can give off a sickly look. On the other hand he could actually be sick
M. Emmett Walsh was a great actor!
for me Walsh will always be the hilarious psycho-sniper/detective going thru a phase in The Jerk. A classic comic performance. Dierkop turned in many memorable character performances on the big and small screen, usually as a gun moll (he just had that look). I will remember him as a second banana henchman on a particularly good episode of Mission: Impossible in 1972. He would have made a good Charles Manson.
Rest In eternal peace all 🕊️🤍🇬🇧🙏🏽💛💡
Damn, The Boss was once of those Cult figures in Gangsta Rap, i still remember this image in Vibe Magazine of her
Charles Dierkop wasn’t remembered for his name..it was that unique nose! Memorable actor..
Loved that his character in "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid" was named "Flatnose Carver".
Charles Dierkop was in 'Wolf in the Fold', in the original Star Trek series.
M. Emmet Walsh is the ornery neighbour in Christmas with the Kranks, that’s what I always remember him from!
RIP Harry Klein.
I know Emit Walsh died because he's in some of my favorite movies.
Charles dierkop was awesome
R.I.P.
Ron Thompson, an actor often overlooked, passed away on April 13th, 2024. He is best remembered for his role in "American Pop."
Sometimes something happens.
3:09 Another Gap Band member, John Black Jr, also passed away in late 2023 I believe. He joined the Gap Band about 1979 and was also a Pastor/Minister in the Los Angeles area.
problem with famous people... there are so many ov them you cant keep track ov who is famous....
Fritz Wepper’s brother died too.
Keithy no way. And Emmit. They left a mark that was awesome.
💔
I had assumed M.Emmet would live forever. It was a shock even though it really shouldn’t have been.
You have to cover Jerry Abbott
Rest in God's loving embrace.
RIP Harry Johnson
I dunno who this first guy is but I think physics says he went super nova
Death is always a tough situation
Thank God
Gap Band = holds up
R Emmit Walsh... :he's going to do a triple linding"
🙏💔
background sound name aynone?
ALL GLORY IS FLEETING
Long live Harry Johnson
What do we say when some one dies...Their in a Better Place.
I didn't even know he was sick.
Kingdom Come = underrated
We're talking about king James kottak he is so so so missed R.I.P. king James Rock & Roll Forever
0:11 wasn’t he in the Toes episode of Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories?
RIP 🙏🏼❤
If they were stars we would have known they passed
M. Emmet Walsh is the only one I know of on this list.
Not sure why they aren't saying no one is talking about their deaths. I heard about every single one, both on TV and online. They were talked about, a lot
Wow Boss passed....I had a chance to date her while she was still living in Detroit.....damn!
Wow
The earliest i saw M. Emmett Walsh was the Sergeant in Alice's Restaurant
🤘Kingdom Come 🤘
Dierkop was also famously one of the uncredited baddies in the Batman TV series. RIP.
I always thought that Albert Collins was Stevie Ray's mentor. I have not heard of W.C. Clark. RIP.
Boss Laws? SERIOUSLY?? This is your contribution to DEI, right?
It's really no wonder at all why most of these folks' passings were not chronicled anywhere.
I don’t think I knew a single person on here.
M. Emmet Walsh was the John C. Reilly of the 80s.
What is it u dont like santa clause
How iconic of him
Possibly no if hes brandishing a gun
You're talking about it.
I knew about the dad on Big Fat Greek Wedding but otherwise i have no idea who any of these people are lol
👍
Doesn't being a star mean you are famous? I've never heard of any of them except the first one.
As they say "Only your Children will remember you"
I am so glad ron harper of the nba is alive
Got really tired of "a handful of news outlets".
Life is nothing but a 60 year process of decomp
May they RIP 🙏 🪦
A bunch of B list character actors died is why we don't know them. And they lived so long (70 to early 80s) that we would definitely forget them living way past their prime. Youth is wasted on the young.
trust the science.
Is there a reason we shouldn’t?
@@IamGalvatron blood clots in major arteries for some reason springs to mind.
and a Nephew I'll never see again on this earth, because he "trusted the science".
@@larryphelps6607 I’m sure that really happened. 🤣🤣😂😂
@@IamGalvatron the world is sure that really happened, if you've been compromised the clock is ticking at a much accelerated rate compared to the pureblood species.
@@IamGalvatron a person lost a nephew, and you laugh and disbelieve? How disgusting. By the way, I also know several people who died because of it.
(never heard of any of 'em)
That clot shot just hit different huh?
I would say that you're using the word 'Stars' very loosely here.
E.EMMET WALSH ..... Get your facts straight.
I don t know who they are
💉💉💉💉💉
91. Natural causes. Surely not. I demand an autopsy!
I remember him not of shows explicitly in brubracer
8:20 just because someone thinks they can rap doesn’t mean they can or should. Her death was god turning down the crap noise. He doesn’t like jungle drums.
nobody is talking because nobody knows who any of them are
The gap band have tons of stuff named for them in tulsa
9:30 once again just because someone thinks they are special and popular doesn’t make it so. Jim from office America would never go unnoticed. Europe office was weird and they speak with an accent. So no one watches it to fall asleep. The accent will drive you nuts. Hence not as popular as the American version.
o
safe and effective
So
Don’t really give movie stars any thought thru out my day there not that important
no love for Lanny Flaherty/Big Al ? 👎
Not stars
Why should these people be talked about for passing? How many people pass away every day? Why are they not recognized? These people are just like everyone else on this rock. They live, they die and the world still goes on.
Good question. These people have been seen by millions. Yes, people die every second as being born the same day. Difference between these people on this video. They are not truly known but a lot of people recognize them compared to us everyday people. They left memories to many from being on shows, movies, music, sports, etc. As we do the same thing just to a very smaller amount of people (family and friends).
Because it’s a show about famous ppl who passed on, you silly knuckle-head!
lol.. stars. some of them would qualify i guess, not all of them though. Being an actor or a band member doesn't make you a star.
Maybe
Not,,but playing a musical instrument good enough to make it in a band would qualify to be a star, it’s damn hard work and dedication!,, I’m mother of 3 musicians,I taught my boys to love and play and practice, and they have for years, 2 great guitarist and 1 drummer,, one has his own band,
@@loisjohnson7272 talent isn't necessarily part of the equation either.. being considered a star just means you're in showbizz and you're real famous thats all. real famous being the key here.
Maybe because they weren't really stars.
Never heard of these people
Who cares about stars?
Enjoy your vaccine😂
probably because no one cares
Nobody cares 💅
Nobody cares!
I guess your scumbag parents didn't teach you any manners, its so apparent, thanks for reveling yourself to be a such small bitter man 👏👏👏
You did enough to comment you goof 🤡🤡
