      @solarismoon3046 most of these people struggled with mental illness and addiction bc of being in Hollywood at such a young age. I'm pretty sure if the Christian God exists he's going to accept people into heaven who suffered at the hands of others before he's going to accept people who judged those same people as unworthy. So maybe worry about yo'self.

    • @solarismoon3046
      @solarismoon3046 4 місяці тому

      @@nom-nomnami1743 Let me educate you on the "Christian God" as you so ignorantly put it. God is not corrupt - people are. We are all sinners and therefore we are not worthy of a reward or the kingdom of Heaven. It says in Romans Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." And in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." John 3:5 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot SEE the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot ENTER into the kingdom of God. 6 . 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. "
      This means to be born again in the spirit of who you are inside your heart and what you believe and know to be true according to the word of GOD and not the word of a disbelieving world. Who do you think goes to Heaven and who do you think goes to Hell? Suffering at the hands of others is not how you get into Heaven. JUDGEMENT DAY is for that. God decides by your deeds and by what you've believed according to HIS WORD who is saved and approved by his will and who is condemned by turning away from God and his son. This is the only way to get a free one way ticket to a fiery eternity for sinful and disobedient way of living and believing. Romans 6:9 "That if thou shalt confess the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead. 10 "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. This is the ONLY way to get to Heaven. All others who don't condemn themselves to eternal Hell! An eternal damnation of the spirit for sin. Only by repenting (turning away from sin) and believing that Jesus is Lord and confessing it to be so can you ever be saved from sin and be born into a new way of living and being. By believing what God tells us so that we can be reconciled to him.

      the price of fame.. which saddly is often very high, fleeting and very hard to get there, I heard stories from voice actors at anime conventions, and while it would be neat to make it big and have all the fans, they are often underappreciated and have soo much famine with the few feasts they might get , and have to do soo much to hone their craft, and the traveling its not my cup of tea but I like hearing the stories.

    Sleepers was such a heartbreaking movie, I'm extremely emotionally strong, but this movie almost brought m t to tears, only 2 other movies have ever done that, Imitation of Life and Taking Chance. We were watching Taking Chance when my oldest grandson who was an active-duty Marine, called to say he was being shipped to Afghanistan, that almost dropped me to my knees. He's now a county sheriff in NC but his middle brother is still an active-duty Marine and is stationed in the middle east somewhere. Imitation of Life got to me because my grandmother was full blooded Native American, grandpa was half and my mom was ashamed of her, grandma was very dark skinned and my mom always looked like she had the perfect tan, one day when mom was at school she was walking with some friends and saw my grandma coming down the hall, my aunt was with her and holding grandma's hand, one of mom's friends asked if grandma was her mom, my mom's answer was no, she's my aunt, my mom is dead, she said it to where my grandma could hear her. Mom was known on our reservation, red on the outside, white on the inside. The girl in the movie reminded me so much of my mom.

      Example:
      Just decriminalizing drug addiction, for example, could SAVE money on prosecuting and housing non-violent offenders. Many addicts are too afraid to get help due to fear of legal consequences. Simply decriminalizing their medical condition could help countless families! How can we afford NOT to? @@dhenderson1810 This isn't a bad point, healthcare funding will ALWAYS be a problem so long as Right Wing politics keeps seeing health and life as a privilege more than a right. If we can get a universal program in place, THEN we can spend eternity arguing about how much it gets out of the budget. But first we need a plan to begin even discussing how much to give it over the long term.

    “You do not come out the other side from this type of loss ever”
    I don’t think you would either . The loss of a child is the worst type of loss. I still am troubled by the loss of the last two dogs I had and they lived into old age. Losing a young child has to be soul crushing - I’m not sure how one could cope with that

    Mental Abuse should also be addressed. I have been suffering Mental Abuse from my husband since the day we were married. Right at 42 yrs. It can affect your health in many many ways. Please pray for me. He has always been the kind of person who feels like he's better than anyone else. He's exactly like his dad was before his passing. But he just doesn't see it. The day that I leave this world I will finally be at peace.

    I was shocked that Jonathan Brandis killed himself I had no idea that his career had taken such a dive it would explain why we hardly saw him he was in a TV movie that he thought would put him back in the industry. It was said most of his scenes ended up on the cutting room floor & it sent him over the edge since his dad said he was suffering from depression I know not being on the big & small screen helped amplified his depression. He was also in a relationship with Fresh Prince star Tatiyana Ali so I wonder if they had broken up before he took his own life. For those of you that didn't know Lee Thompson played Victor Stone aka Cyborg on Smallville I was also shocked that he took his own life may all these child actors RIP.

Some speculate that if you listen closely to his 911 call you can hear him saying that his wife pushed him down the stairs…😢

    Charles Herbert Saperstein (December 23, 1948 - October 31, 2015), known as Charles Herbert, was an American child actor of the 1950s and 1960s. Before reaching his teens, Herbert was renowned by a generation of moviegoers for an on-screen broody, mature style and wit that enabled him to go one-on-one with some of the biggest names in the industry, and his appearances in a handful of films in the sci-fi/horror genre garnered him an immortality there. In six years, he appeared in twenty Hollywood features.
    Herbert supported his family from the age of five and went from being one of the most-desired and highest-paid child actors of his time to one of the multitude of performers Hollywood "discarded" upon reaching maturity.
    Because of the studio attitude toward child actors of the time, Herbert had a keen interest in the child actors of today.
    "I lost a lot more than the financial things. Financial things are way down the list for me. The way it’s set up in Hollywood is, I did 50 TV shows, the 20 movies, the commercials, all of that stuff... and when I turned 21, zero had been put away in the bank for me. It was not that way for every [kid actor]: If you signed a long-term contract--for instance, if you did Lassie or The Donna Reed Show or something--they put away like 5 percent for you. But if you were not on a long-term contract, ALL of the money you earned for the movies, for ALL the TV things, went to your guardians; and your guardians could do with it whatever they saw fit."
    The only money put away for Herbert until age 21 from his TV and film earnings was $1,700.-Wiki
