    98 Jordan was so disciplined/ advanced he could’ve played in any era. All he had to do was adjust his game. His mindset spoke volumes, which means he’d be the same everywhere he went.

      @@chillwill2673 please explain how would MJ, Pippen, Harper be bad in perimeter or transition defense? they are all incredible athletes that could play in any era. you lack substance and critical thinking. Todays defenders are utter trash. If you apply any effort towards defense you are considered a great defender. Guys like Smart or Draymond would not be first team defenders in Jordan's eras. This is such a casual comment lol sit down and let adults talk.

      @@vdf27 GS runs up and down screens every possession, they would have to constantly move on defense instead of the set defense they played in the 90s. Back then, no team focused solely on three point shooting and double screens. You didn’t even see guys shoot threes on fastbreaks. Then on offense, who would give them 3 point scoring. That triangle offense is not high powered enough to match that. GS changed the way the game is played, then they added KD! Seems like you’re stuck in the past man or just don’t know basketball.

    • @chillwill2673
      @chillwill2673 Рік тому +2

      @Beery Look at my previous comment. The bulls didn’t have to defend the 3 point shot, that wasn’t a primary scoring option back then. GS plays much faster and everybody can push the rock and shoot. The game is played differently because of GS. MJ wouldn’t have any help on offense to keep up with scoring. How many three point shooters did they have?

    I dont think the Warriors beat the 90s Bulls or the 2000s Lakers. A part of the game that is missing from today due to the up and down style is drawing fouls and getting people in foul trouble. Guarding Shaq or Jordan you are going to be in foul trouble your team will be in the bonus. The pace of the game will slow all the way down, so those 15-0 runs the Warriors tend to go on will not happen vs those teams.

    All depends on which rules and style they're playing under. 90s slow it down, half court offense, physical defense style of play, Bulls are winning that easy. If it's today's small ball, spread the floor, 3 point shooting style GS is winning. Under today's rules the Bulls would be handicap because everything caters to the offense. A big question in this debate is what rules will they play under? If it's the NBA of today where you get called for a foul for the lightest contact possible, and players are flopping around all over the place then sure I can see the Warriors winning a seven game series. Keep in mind though that if MJ plays under those rules he's probably going to average over 40 a game. Klay is a good defender but he's not stopping MJ. Pippen would probably average 25pts and 10 rbs per game. If they are playing under 90s era rules I believe the Bulls win in 6. Pippen would dominate Draymond. No question about it. Rodman would be all up Durant's head, but Durant would most likely be the most difficult to guard for the Bulls. MJ would be much to physical for Klay. I think the Bulls overall would be to physical for them. Remember that today's flagrant fouls were common fouls in that era. Under either era's rules, for the Warriors, it comes down to whether or not Steph can be hot every game and if Durant can average over 30 a game. Those two would have to keep pace with MJ and Pippen ever night and vice versa.

    Who's checking curry is the question... He's shooting from the logo, idk how the bulls would adapt to that. No way Ron Harper is chasing Steph or Klay around.

    KD is shut down by physical defense and nobody had more physical defense than Rodman. The Bulls had 4 DPOY starting. Pippin shuts down Klay. Now Steph has to do it all with Ron Harper in face all game.

      Jordan is not enough. Lebron averaged 33 12 and 10 and his team still lost in 5. Add up the assists and point ratio and lebron accounted for about 50 points give or take.

      Warriors didn't stop bron, harden, Luka, ja, kyrie, just stopped everyone else. One player can't beat that team not even Mike... look at the raptors, they won with straight team ball. Only other time warriors lost was cuz bron and kyrie just were unstoppable and series was rigged

    I'm a huge Jordan and Bulls fan but Last Dance 98' Bulls were old and beat up. Jordan literally had to put that team on his back to get that final championship. Jordan was 35, Pippen was 33, and battling back injuries, Rodman was 37 and was playing limited minutes, Harper was 35 and had bad knees, Kerr was 33, Kukoc and Longley were 30. They were the oldest team to win a championship in NBA history. I don't see them beating the GSW with Durant. However, 96' Bulls would beat that GSW imo.

    Why is this even a discussion? Why everybody seem to forget just cause they won the chip? That Warriors team was exposed against the freaking Rockets! The question should be, would that team even had beaten those Rockets with a healthy CP3, forget the Bulls. You replace Harden for Jordan and that series over, even without CP3 the last two. I watched that Rocket team make the splash bros and KD look like a desert with maybe one All-NBA defender. Rockets choked that series away missing 30 straight 3s and still had a chance in the end. Let that sink in......
