Bought a ‘25 GLS 63 yesterday. $180k out the door, including 7yr/100k OEM extended warranty, 4 yr OEM prepaid maintenance and 7 yr MB branded “First Class” wheel & tire protection backed by Safeguard. It was a gift for my wife. She likes MB, wants to have a 3 row SUV, and doesn’t like any of American Big 3 SUVs. Comment below if you think I’m crazy.
No, not crazy. Mercedes is a very solid piece of engineering and put together with very tight tolerances. The extended warranty and prepaid maintenance is probably a significant cost saving. Ask if you can purchase more than 4 years of maintenance, so no one has incentive to sabotage after 4 years are up. The insurance is another story: those shiny parts are Expensive, so cover those $7,000 headlights. Get used to double clicking to deactivate the keyfob when you park and lock, unless it's in your garage. Otherwise ... just think, you could have had a Vette and some spare change floating around! Too late now! (Kidding. GLS 63 is a fine car and a great gift.)
While I appreciate your effort in reviewing this car, a little research would show that this car is missing $14,000 in options and is basically a "stripped" GLS63. It would be nice to point out what it's missing instead of just saying it basically has everything.
Anyway possible to put the rear 385 rear wheel to the front to make it sit squared instead of staggered? I think the look of the Mercedes 2021 GLS 580 twin 5 spoke 23 inch aluminum alloy wheels will look better imo.
This car is THE daily driver to have!
When you have a choice, always go 63!!!
@Brian_Eugene_Leeit will never have a 65.

Does every GLS 63 AMG come with E-Active body control as standard?

GLS63 AMG all the way
Beautiful new Blue Mercedes has. That front fender trim needs to be one piece of Mercedes needs to tighten their tolerances.
Ben, the GLS 63AMG or the Alpina XB7?
Are there any differences between the 2023 and 2024 version ?
I would go GLS 63 without a doubt. Better investment long term.
😂
It’s a depreciable capital asset in most cases.
Because of something like this i would travel to Germany at all costs
If you talk at half the speed...it's much better...
Greetz from the netherlands
I love the color and it is Mercedes Benz what more can you say.
I’m in love
Greatest ever Mercedes? The 300SLs are great, probably better than this car, especially the coupes.
Greatest Mercedes ever? Lol! It’s a freakin van bro!😂😂😂😂 I’d take the GT over this any day 😂😂😂
Vans are cool bro!
For a daily and traveling and offroading ain't nothing to compare this with gt
Design is nothing without build quality.
No thanks, I’ll take the Escalade. The downside with these GLS is the shape. They look like minivans 🤷♂️
looks more for the wife Doesn’t looks sporty at all. AMG?
My question is with as nice as Mercedes are why are they so unreliable
